Disappointed longtime Samsung user- bring v2 back
I've been using Samsung earbuds for years. My FE v2 recently broke, so I purchased the FE v3. Unfortunately, this redesign is a significant downgrade for my needs. Key issues compared to FE v2: Fit & Comfort: The new stem design requires inserting hard plastic into the ear canal alongside the silicone tip, causing discomfort during extended wear. The v2's design only inserted the silicone seal, which was more comfortable for all-day use. The protruding stems also make side-sleeping impossible. Noise Cancellation: Noticeably less effective, particularly with wind noise. The Ambient mode produces static noise that makes it unusable - I immediately turn it back off. Controls: The squeeze-to-click mechanism requires more pressure and is less intuitive than v2's touch controls. Harder to at all times in any situation. Case & Battery: The buds don't seat as easily in the case. Battery life seems reduced in my overnight usage. Build Quality: The materials feel less premium - the v2 had a more solid construction. What works: Sound quality remains good, and connectivity is reliable. Samsung, please consider offering both designs. The v2 form factor was exceptional and some of us strongly prefer it. I'll be searching for v2 stock elsewhere.
