Worked perfectly, Monitor is able to be used at 240hz easily by updating the setting in windows and the monitor itself has excellent picture quality.

I paid for 2 day shipping, item arrived 4 days later, first boot up was a mess, screen was distorted.. i figured to change the DP cables and it worked!! This monitor is a beast compare to 144hz this probably 20% better i would say.. but after a month of use the distortion came back so i had to refund it, must have been dropped during shipping. Overall im blown with the performance setting up the monitor have never been this easy! Ask me if its worth it, i would say no! Because of the price. I am going back to my old XL2411P.

Love this monitor. Upgraded from 60hz and it was night and day differnece. I use this monitor primarily for CS:GO. I now get into servers and just destroy!! This is the real deal product. Great job to the BenQ Zowie team on this amazingness.

Ive tried several 240hz monitors now: [PG258Q] Uniformity turned me away. [XL2546] Overall picture quality woes. [AW2518H] Has a shocking coating type for the most glare reduction. However, the coating gives a less impressionable quality next to a PG258Q - which is still grainy/grainier, but doesnt soften the image as much. Lots of improvements could be made to improve the 240hz experience, but the easiest difference to compare among those out now is the coating. A choice for a better coating for image contrast and sharpness is desired - as well as a high contrast glossy coating like on TVs/Phones/Laptops/Etc. -In answer to BenQ- Picture quality woes: A lot of it comes down to the coating. I cant expand much on the picture quality beyond that and just general gamut, contrast, and several concerns for eye strain for LED LCD in general. Since PWM does cause eye strain just the same as any strobing feature it is good to know that the strobe function can be quickly disabled. However, there are things that I stress about with LED monitors, in line with the fact Ive never liked LED monitors or light bulbs since the start, and I havent really grown from this. First, the brightness controls. With LED LCDs, either it is PWM flickering, or there is a direct current dimming that I dont feel confident makes things better than just having a normal brightness at maximum setting. Despite already knowing about PWM, I somehow considered the strobing wasnt quite the same in terms of eye strain. The only LED monitor Ive used considerably had a 250 cd/m2 brightness with PWM and has a glossy coating - the Samsung S23A750D. To be clear, I intentionally sought out a CCFL monitor after buying LED because I could never be sure LED is something to like - and Ive always sort of switched between the two and spending more time on the CCFL. Following that, when choosing a TV I never once had to consider using an LED backlit LCD, and I would also note that there looks to be a premium set for a glossy coating offered in TVs, which are less reflective. Additionally, there are effects that I think flicker faster - or become more noisy - with a higher refresh rate. Things like dithering and pixel inversion. Overall, I guess 240hz isnt a go for me, and finding a concrete answer seems difficult. Some of these issues could be related to sitting too close, and perhaps the main culprit lies with the PWM/strobe that, due to it, I cant really decide quickly if direct current dimming LED is as smooth and stable as other more softer glowing light sources that the effects are maybe compounding with each other along with grainy coatings and uniformity issues, as well as lack of perfect viewing angle, which I now believe provides additive pixel sharpness and eye comfort for LCDs along with a lighter and glossier coating.

Love this 240hz monitor. The build quality is great and it feels really sturdy. The monitor does what it needs to and has lots of easy and friendly to do customizations with the switch it comes with. The shields are a gimmick, but it looks aesthetic if it’s your cup of tea. The colors aren’t as bad and as washed, but they aren’t the best. It’s a TN monitor after all so if you’re looking for performance and good to average color reproduction I would recommend.

The monitor works great for all me needs. But people have didn’t needs when it comes to monitors. If you are looking to play at the highest level you possibly can with 240hrz than this is your monitor. Pros: it’s really good for FPS games but you need a high end GPU in order to achieve those frames in certain games. Cons: overall is a really great monitor but the only issue i have is that it’s a TN panel so it’s a little harder to find that perfect setting to play on graphic wise.

Pros: The smoothest monitor I ever used, and black equalizer is amazing Cons: picture quality is terrible comparing to 2k and 4k Conclusion: you better off with a 144mhz, 1ms, 2k

If you got a good computer like me, it is so worth it to try playing at 240hz vs 60hz, the difference is INSANE! E-sports games like CSGO feel much more smooth, in 60hz the gameplay felt slightly choppy, but the 240hz made the gameplay feel lifelike, this is great for racing games as well. I used this for about a half a year til I got a 4k 60hz monitor (Samsung UJ59) for about the same price, this monitor is worth it.

There is nothing wrong with the monitor out of the box and it works just fine, but I cannot live with how it reproduces colors and its general clarity. This thing is a beast for gaming, but for anything else its rather awful to use for everyday tasks. I already have a 1440p/144hz panel that will work just fine for CS, and I can deal with the slightly lower refresh rates until newer technology comes out.

Love the monitor, has a great picture for 1080p. The aesthetics are pretty plain but the 1ms 240hz is awesome. I run 240fps/240hz and its pretty smooth and clear. I will have to upgrade to a 1440p though soon, 1080p is fading away.
