I bought this as a secondary laptop that was easier to carry and less expensive than my gaming laptop. I use this for documents, spreadsheets, youtube, social media, and occasionally streaming amazon prime. Its the perfect size to put in my backpack before a flight. You get the option to reach documents and other work products without being on the network, and it automatically syncs when you get back online. Because its a google device, it works well together in concert with everything else I use google on (android, wear os, etc). I can schedule appointments on this laptop, and I can instantly get reminders on my phone and my watch. For around 150 bones, you cant beat it. Keyboard types well, mouse track pad is alright too. Remember what this is. Its a chromebook, not a windows PC, if youre looking for a full PC experience...buy something else. If youre looking for a productivity booster in a small package, and already use google a lot, this is perfect. I would definitely buy again.

Chrome is so easy, and this Chromebook seems to be a perfect device. Fits comfortably on your lap without tipping, the ease of transferring everything from your previous Chromebook is a snap. Happy I bought a second Chrombook!

I bought a Chromebook when they first came out. I knew exactly what a Chromebook is for. It is NOT a laptop. The 11 inch screen is larger than most tablets. I cant stand tablets/touchscreen. I prefer a keyboard and touchpad. Very pleased with the quality of this Samsung. It is not fancy. It gets the job done. No complaints. I would buy this again.

This is the second one weve bought for my mother-in-law. (She wore the first one out.) :-) No need for fancy features; she uses it for email, Facebook, and Solitaire. She absolutely loves it. It does only what she needs, and it doesnt take up much room on her desk.

I just got this and so far so good. It lacks microsoft and capabilities of my recently dead laptop. I bought this as a temporary substitute. Im in the process of booking a flight to Frankfurt Germany and need internet access. Only used for 1 1/2 hours so far. Hence the 4 star rating. For the price, hard to complain about.

This no-frills Chromebook is only good for in-house, off-internet projects. Forget about streaming, surfing or Skyping; the power just isnt there. Of course, youre getting what youre paying for: At about $160, youre not going to be able to watch the NBA Finals on this thing. This Chromebook 3s bare-bones nature shows everywhere: a basic 1366x768 screen, a mere 2 GB of RAM, standard 16 GB hard drive, 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron-driven processor, and almost archaic 802.11ac wireless capability. The biggest plusses are its size -- a non-hernia-inducing 2.5 pounds, less than some of my lunches -- and battery life, which Ive clocked in at about 18 hours (the standard for this device appears to be 12). The shell is a solid-enough plastic to take a few jolts from drops and the like, so its not super fragile. Do those things make up for its overall low end status? Not really. But again, its about what youd expect for the price. Given that these devices in general last me about one year before something permanently kills it, that comes out to about 45 cents per day. Guess you cant argue with that.
