My last touchscreen laptop before this was a Sony and while it was a great piece of Hardware it left some things to be desired with the software. The Yoga is a very nice piece of hardware, well made and solid. While it is a bit heavy but it is very slim and easily slides into my briefcase even when it is stuffed with other things. It was a breeze to setup and configure and especially the fingerprint security was easy and works great. Its not loaded with a lot of bloatware so with a little effort it is good to go. I am always on the road and need a laptop that is can take some not so gentle handling and is fast to start up when I need it in a hurry. This one is great for that and while I dont put high demands on processing speed it seems to be very responsive to the tasks I have given it so far. The keyboard is large and not squeezed to one side as its the case with many laptops. It took me some getting used to but once I did I appreciated its design. Overall I am very pleased because after a lot of product reviews I found one to my liking. I am also impressed with the presentation by Lenovo and went out and replaced my tablet with one by Lenovo and am equally happy with that as well.

I wanted to love this laptop, but only after a short time of use, I started experiencing an annoying blinking issue. Luckily, I was still within my 30 day window and was able to return it. If you research this, you will read what I am referring to. I would not recommend buying this machine.

The package never came to my apartment but on the floor of the community center next door. The laptop was in a huge box with hardly any packaging protection (see photo.) The wireless connection wouldnt stay connected for more than a couple minutes at a time which I attributed to the wireless adapter being jarred loose due to the box being so free to bounce around inside the larger box. However, using a USB stick, I booted from Ubuntu Linux and was able to stay connected, so I reinstalled Windows and it has been working since. The laptop itself is very sleek. However, its solid, the hinges are tight and have a long-lasting feel to them. It performs nicely at any angle. I would like to add another 8 gbs of RAM but dont see an entry door which would mean taking the entire bottom off and thats more that one should attempt unless you have a system to re-install the screws exactly as they were. Its a nice laptop to look at though the one I have weighs 4.4 lbs, not the 2lbs+ mentioned in the specs I read about it. The screen goes almost to the edges and occupies a good deal of real estate most pleasantly. In fact, the hardware items are quite nicely laid out and the keys very well appointed though they might seem a bit too mushy for some tastes. I havent used the fingerprint logon/identifier as I dont need it and, my fingers crack thanks to the winter heat and so much so that it might interfere with the ability of its function to work properly. I am still not pleased with the way the laptop was packaged. However, I am hoping to have a few years with an extremely beautiful to look at laptop. Heres to continued connection, cheers!

Best laptop for its money. Great SSD, fast CPU, good battery life, comfortable keyboard and touchpad, handy fingerprint reader, yoga feature makes it good for use as a tablet. Good IPS screen, good view angles, good brightness and touchscreen. I recommend it to anybody who is looking for a laptop for office work or for programming. PS: due to integrated video card it is not a gaming laptop.

The Good: - Stylish - Speedy - Touch screen works well The Bad: - Screen is dim - Issues with wifi dropping (fixed by disabling bluetooth) - Screen flickering (fixed with changes to settings) Overall, this is a good laptop, but there are better options for a little more money. I had some initial issues with it, but my biggest disappointment was with the screen. It is not as crisp or bright as I would have liked.

This laptop should be great. It has a great form factor, it looks nice, its compatible with the Lenovo active pen (which is the best such pen I have used), and has great specks, but... I have had more problems out of this laptop than any I have ever owned! While gaming (using an external GPU), external peripherals will lag even though RAM and CPU usage are well below maximum. I was able to fix this issue by disabling Realtek audio, but this caused audio to cut out intermittently. When plugged in, the computer will say it is charging but the battery percentage will not raise. To fix this problem when it comes up I have to do a hard shutdown (holding the power button until the computer shuts down). The computer will randomly stop receiving input from the Lenovo active pen and I will have to press the button on the top of the pen and wait a few seconds or restart the computer; this is extremely inconvenient when I am trying to take notes. To top it all off, about 1/4 of the keys on the keyboard randomly stopped working after having the laptop for only 4 months (the warranty covers this last issue and it is being fixed, but this still shouldnt happen on a laptop this new). Overall I am very disappointed in this laptop. Even though it is one of the only laptops on the market that meets the specification I desire (a 15inch 2-in-1 with a thunderbolt bolt that can be used with a pen) the numerous problem I have had make it not worth it. If I could go back and get something else, I definitely would.

Great computer. Works well and love the active screen. The size feels a lot smaller and lighter than expected

This is my third Yoga. I buy them because of their light weight. Wish this one were a little lighter. On the other hand, the screen resolution is great. The sound is not tinny and I love the touch screen. Besides my dream of a laptop that I can carry in one arthritic hand, my only other complaint is that there is not port for connecting directly to my router/modem. When troubleshooting my ISP/phone line, this would be helpful.

I have used Lenovo Yoga products since the LenovoYoga Pro 2, however the Lenovo branded laptops have an issue with the wireless drivers. One of the issues is the realtek cards lose connectivity to wifi quite often, its rather a luck of the draw when you get the laptop. I shipped my laptop into Lenovo immediately once I noticed I had this issue, it is now in repair to swap out the realtek with an intel wifi chip so basically its just 2 extra weeks of no laptop. I will follow up with how this laptop is when it comes back but overall I used it for a few hours before calling support and im overall happy with the laptop as its a big upgrade from my Lenovo Yoga Pro 2
