Liked the laptop at first look. Specs are good and everything seemed alright. Got it delivered in 2 days. First 10 days was amazing, loved using the laptop and how it felt. After that for the first time observed the screen flicker, thought might be some drivers issue. Updated BIOS and Intel graphics VGA driver to the latest versions but the flickering just got bad day by day and annoying. I read some reviews about Yoga 730 and its infamous "Screen flicker" issue before buying it but never thought I would experience get to experience it. Attached a video of the issue in action. Disappointed with the purchase, sending the product back to Amazon. Never buying Lenovo again. I am not even sure of whats triggering the flicker. Tried to troubleshoot the issue but to no avail. Thought it was a software issue updated windows, Bios and display drivers. The display seems like it has its mind of its own, okay in one moment and flickering the other.

This laptop is an epic failure!!! First about 2 weeks into owning the product the screen begins to flicker over and over at random times. I could live with that, I updated the BIOS and it seemed to settle down. Then a couple of days after the return window closes, several keys completely quit working on the keyboard. I am so angry now. This was a complete waste of money and there is apparently no recourse for returns now. I have tried to get support with Lenovo but they are not helpful at all. This was the worst purchasing experience I have had on Amazon. $700 bucks for a brick of a laptop.

I have had this for less than 2 weeks and have already decided to return it because it has a design flaw that causes sporadic video fluctuations. There are many documented instances of this issue on the Lenovo forums and the manufacturer has been UNABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM! Some of the other users with this issue have sent their units to Lenovo to have the display replaced; this didnt fix the issue. I dont have the desire to mess around hoping Lenovo gets it right. This is going to be returned.

Arrived promptly, booted it up and waited for the updates, many, many updates to load. Most would not load but after several re-boots all but one loaded. Called Microsoft, senior engineer worked for 30 minutes, no success since it had an obsolete version of Win10. Reloaded the correct version so I spent most of two evenings before I had a fully functional PC. Also the track pad is much too sensitive, even on the least sensitive setting just getting near it is enough to set it off. So I gotta buy a mouse?? On the plus side it is quiet and boots quickly. UPDATE, called Lenovo tech support, they re-installed the driver for the trackpad. Still terrible. If I plug in a mouse it does not work properly, jumps all over the place. Returning the computer.

I wanted to love this laptop, but only after a short time of use, I started experiencing an annoying blinking issue. Luckily, I was still within my 30 day window and was able to return it. If you research this, you will read what I am referring to. I would not recommend buying this machine.

This laptop should be great. It has a great form factor, it looks nice, its compatible with the Lenovo active pen (which is the best such pen I have used), and has great specks, but... I have had more problems out of this laptop than any I have ever owned! While gaming (using an external GPU), external peripherals will lag even though RAM and CPU usage are well below maximum. I was able to fix this issue by disabling Realtek audio, but this caused audio to cut out intermittently. When plugged in, the computer will say it is charging but the battery percentage will not raise. To fix this problem when it comes up I have to do a hard shutdown (holding the power button until the computer shuts down). The computer will randomly stop receiving input from the Lenovo active pen and I will have to press the button on the top of the pen and wait a few seconds or restart the computer; this is extremely inconvenient when I am trying to take notes. To top it all off, about 1/4 of the keys on the keyboard randomly stopped working after having the laptop for only 4 months (the warranty covers this last issue and it is being fixed, but this still shouldnt happen on a laptop this new). Overall I am very disappointed in this laptop. Even though it is one of the only laptops on the market that meets the specification I desire (a 15inch 2-in-1 with a thunderbolt bolt that can be used with a pen) the numerous problem I have had make it not worth it. If I could go back and get something else, I definitely would.
