I purchased this for my mother after she was having problems with an HP she had bought only LAST YEAR. Thankfully, I think this Lenovo will last her a bit longer. The processor isnt a contender with the 7th or even 6th generation chips, but it definitely runs Windows 10 Pro fabulously and has no issues multitasking. Im a bit upset that (for whatever reason hardware/software/magic) I couldnt get the wireless networking device to function. It simply would not turn on. I settled getting a USB adapter for only $10 so Im not bothered by it too much; it is something to be aware of though. Overall, Im actually considering buying another for myself as a on-the-go secondary. If you need something cheap, lightweight and portable, I cant see a better bargin than this laptop.

Windows Product Code is under battery! I bought this because it is a solid machine, SSHD with 8 gigs of ram. A few months after buying it I had an issue after a Windows Update that locked up the machine. Had to do a start from scratch (as I call it) as there were no recovery dates. After getting Windows working again, it kept telling me the license was about to expire. Not good, as I noticed that there were no product stickers attached to the bottom of the laptop! However....I searched this site and found a comment that said to look under the battery for the Windows Product Code. Tada! There it is! VERY HAPPY to find that the Windows license is attached, under the battery! VERY happy with this machine.

I was a little nervous buying this, pretty good reviews, but seller was Blazing Prices when I ordered. Currently has 94% positive 12 mo. rating, but only 89% 30 day rating, so it looks like customer service is going down. Well, I got the laptop, in generic box with the correct 90watt adapter, no instructions or anything else. Well packaged, laptop looks brand new, and I think never used (not even a speck of dust on the fan). I did check ALL of the hardware, webcam works, battery life 2 hours, all keys good. Only defect I found was dvd player could not read home burned dvds. Burned dvds fine, and they played on another computer, but not on this one. Commercial dvds and cds play just fine, so it has a slightly defective dvd player. I didnt send it back because who uses dvds anymore anyway, and I didnt want to chance getting one with more significant problems. I wonder if some of these "refurbished" units are factory seconds? Keyboard is very good, better than most other laptop keyboards, though not as good as the older ThinkPads (I have an even older X100e ThinkPad with a better keyboard). As others have said, very good hardware and specs for the $205 shipped that I paid. Fast booting, fast working... great machine. Windows 10 installed wo problems and activated with the number on the label on the bottom of the computer. You do have to scratch off the silver stuff covering the first 4 numbers. Anyway, Im very happy.

In lieu of the multitude of reviews, this one will be on the customer service surrounding issues with the product. As you can see, the laptop was advertised to have Bluetooth capability. When I received it, no Bluetooth. Klamp, the vendor, responded pretty quickly to my support inquiry and worked with me to confirm that there was no Bluetooth. They then offered me multiple solutions, and I ended up going with the Bluetooth adapter. They shipped it to me (all at no charge), and I got it in just a couple days. I then noticed that the laptop wouldnt run on battery (AT ALL). I emailed the Klamp rep that I was in contact with, and they shipped me out a fresh battery (at no charge!). All is well with this laptop now. After owning for a little over two months, Im very pleased with the speed and capabilities of the laptop. Its affordable, and now Bluetooth capable.
