For the two weeks we have owned this PC it has worked ~half the time at best. For the past two weekends the laptop has been in "circle of death" mode. Last Monday it miraculously started working again on its own. This weekend... same problem. Lenovo support? of course they only work on weekdays, dont even bother calling. Amazon support... the extent of their help was... Call Lenovo. Am deeply regretting the purchase and should have bought a Mac. Which I am about to do after we send this paper weight back.

The laptop fits great for my business usage, but unfortunately ill end up returning it and picking another brand due to the very poor screen brightness, I never had a Lenovo before and this one will prevent me from getting another. Ive never seen a screen so limited in brightness even in cheaper computers.

Install Flash Player I dont know how to start. This is not my first laptop and it might not be my last. However it is, so far base on my experience, a good laptop, the battery is descent when searching the web, and watching videos. Despite what some other reviews say about not being capable of editing video, this laptop was able to handle quite well 1080p 60p video editing, with out any struggle and with out any lag when doing playback in the software. The software I use is Wondershare Filmora 9, I have not try any of the free software like Hitfilm Express or DaVinci Resolve. I did try Wondershare Filmora Pro, and every time I open it, it keep telling me to change my resolution to 175%. This can be solve by suing and HDMI cable and using a larger monitor. A gain I do not know how it will handle it once the other monitor is plug in. There is something you need to be aware of. This laptop can handle editing, but its a different issue when you convert the video. I edited a 13 minutes video, when I converted it was 11 minutes log. This laptop did exported the video, but the CPU got to 100% use and it overheated fast, with out the assistance of external laptop coolers. So if you are going to use it to export videos after you are done editing then is suggest getting one of this https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CXNMYQD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Bought this laptop as a warehouse deal. Did not include the Active Pen, but should have. Amazon resolved this for me. RAM was easily replaceable via taking out the T5 screws on the bottom and using a spudger to open up the case. Metal cover lifts straight up with no resistance over the user replaceable RAM module. I put in a 16gb Crucial stick for a total of 20gb. The laptop also does indeed have the Ryzen 3500u chip (2nd gen Ryzen mobile). Have not put it through its paces yet though. Downsides: 1) the plastic feels a bit cheap. The top is a soft touch plastic, the bottom is your general electronics hard plastic. Some flex to the body, but I will use this mainly for web surfing and office suite use. 2) Windows 10 Home. Feels watered down but not the end of the world. You wont be able to adjust how you receive updates among other things. Also comes with weird Microsoft bloat via apps that you cant uninstall. 3) Glare on screen. Screen is very shiny with bad glare, and also a finger print magnet. Worth considering an anti-glare version or a cover. Overall, seems better than most in this category of laptops. Nice and thin, AMD Ryzen and Vega, user replaceable RAM and SSD presumably. Ill update if I have any problems.

Only had this for a couple of weeks but for the price I have no real complaints. Just posting a review because some other reviews and answers have said the memory on this cant be upgraded. This does in fact have one slot that can be upgraded for 20 GB of total RAM. This was my comment on someone elses review: This does have a memory slot that you can upgrade. Just put in a 16 GB GSKILL stick a week ago to bump total memory to 20 GB. Took all of 5-10 minutes. Need a T4 (I think) screwdriver, otherwise its very easy. This isnt the same exact laptop but the process to upgrade the RAM is almost identical in the below video other than the bottom of the case needing a little more wiggling (used an old credit card) to pry loose. https://youtu.be/_-Lr8H0JxjM

To be honest, considering price, performance specs, design and quality in general, this convertible should be the number one selling in its category, period! I liked it so much that I ordered three, only to be dissappointed the moment I opend them up -- I mean, I opened the display, not opening the machine in a tear down sense. Its right there, in the middle of the display, a big rectangular patch of grayish color. The rectangular shape is bound by parrellel lines about one inch from the bezel. You can see it without turning on the monitor, or you can still see it with monitor on, or under the sun. Its very visible unless you are in a very dark room. All three of them have the same rectangular patch in the middle of the display that occupy the center of the monitor while taking up more than half of the real estate. In the third picture you can see the defective display on the left, comparing to my Lenovo IdeaPad S340 that does NOT have the defective patch, with my Philips monitor in the back ground (no defect), and next to my four month old laptop in the background on the right hand (no defect on the display). I dont know the technical terms for this kind of issues with laptop displays. I hope some expert could drop a line and call it by its technical name. Its a shame that Lenovo let this batch of defective display delivered to customers. Otherwhise this laptop/convertible would be my number one choice in a long time.

Bought this for my daughter as a college graduation gift. It’s now her favorite thing! I had to admit it is pretty awesome. AMDs APU combined with the 2-1 format provides a great mixture of speed and versatility. The pen feature is very responsive While she was writing and drawing. The whole digital paper like feature is new to me and was pretty cool to watch. Online gaming should be a breeze as well.

I have always been skeptical of buying a non-Intel processor in my laptops. I got this for my kids to replace an old broken macbook and I will say I am very impressed. Review sites have compared this processor to lower end I7 equivalents and it performed decently. For what our use of this is - videos, surfing, not-high-intensity gaming, it is more than qualified. It is very responsive, transforms from laptop to tablet quickly and easily, has a nice build quality, looks and feels good (including the keyboard). I can understand users who want more memory or a dedicated video processor - so probably not the most ideal choice for high end gaming or video/project editing, but for a was above average family laptop I dont think you can beat the price & performance of this gem.

So far using this laptop, I havent encountered any issues with it and it boots up super fast do to the SSD inside it. My opinion could change about this down the line as I havent had it for more than a week, but I decided to just give my honest thoughts on it for now, as this is by far the best laptop upgrade i gotten since my Toshiba Satellite Radius 14 that I had for 3 years. Although, I wish it did come with at least a 500GB SSD since the space on this will be filled up soon, but I am not knocking stars off it because of that as its still worth the purchase as it is now.
