Bought it for my dad. Here is my review. First of all, the display and sound system have really shocked me the most. I am certainly no tech expert, but the sound has deep bass and high treble, and the display has the ability to play 8k footage on YouTube! For a laptop under $500, this was quite surprising. I havent tested with extreme CPU consuming gameplay, but that is the one area where this laptop struggles slightly. I attempted to play Fortnite, and I was able to play, but for there to be no lag I had to turn the graphics to low or maybe at best medium. However, when graphics were set to Epic, the gameplay did LOOK great but was clunky at best. Overall, the laptop runs pretty smoothly and only starts to lag when there are several tabs or programs open, but even still performs quite well. The display and sound surprised me, and I would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a high quality, budget priced laptop. The IPS display is very stunning. I dont think you can buy a laptop with WLED-backlit touchscreen (1920 x 1080) under 500 bucks.

I purchased this 2 in 1 for work, I do quite a bit of PDF editing and sketching for construction work and the tablet mode and the HP pen offer a great platform to do my work works tasks with minimal effort. My previous work computer was also a touchscreen but it was nowhere near sensitive enough for it to be even remotely beneficial. This laptop truly exceeds my expectations for a mid-range, especially at its given price point. My only qualm so far is the battery life, HP says 10.5 hours of battery life, this is not the case its more like 5. That is adequate for me especially since my work truck has an AC outlet in it.

This laptop can do all it says and more. Great build and so far plenty of ram for all our video editing and the pen is amazing. With both right and left click functions as well as a great display. This is a great bang for your buck machine and I am ordering 10 more through the company I work for as it is the one of the best on the market at the moment.

I suspect that this computer would have performed as advertised in the other reviews. However, since from the first moment I turned the computer on, I got a blue screen and an error reading BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO. When I called HP, they informed me that the hard drive was corrupted, and that the best course of action would be returning the computer to the seller, which I will be doing.

So mad. I was stoked at first. Got it, never got the active stylus like I’m suppose to as promised. They made they deal and boom. No communication. Why? I’ll tell you why, it’s cause the hard drive was corrupt. It never works. I been trying and trying. Checked the boot sequencing. After everything is said and done. The tech I took it to, told me it’s a paperweight at this point. It had a ton of scratches and the screen. Shame on you I got ripped off and amazon must’ve changed cause they aren’t doing anything about it and vipoutlet refuses to respond to all my inquires. I think I’m done with amazon.

This computer is everything you need for work and daily life purposes. I bought it to replace my embarassingly old dell latitude and Im just blown away. The computer arrived in odd packaging (a box wrapped in a piece of paper inside a much bigger box?) But was entirely intact as the actual laptop packaging is very reliable. Upon startup, everything just kind of updated itself with minimal input from me aside from my microsoft account. I really like the cortana feature that windows 10 offers. The sound quality is pretty great for a laptop, and the picture quality is unreal. My Netflix documentaries look better than they do on my tv. As far as performance goes its a pretty quick machine as long as you dont load it up with background junk. Im pretty happy with the terrabyte of memory as well. The tablet function is super amazing and great for my drawing programs. Overall, Id say this is the best bang for your buck if you dont want to spend a small fortune on a laptop.

This laptop is everything I wanted and more. I’m a college student and this laptop doesn’t disappoint. It’s fast, very lightweight, and the touchscreen is very responsive. The stylish pen that it comes with is the perfect accessory to use with this laptop.

Got my laptop. Everything works. No issues. Picked up the extended plan through HP so if I dont use it I get that money back. Sweet. Needed to upgrade the home computer. Now I have something more in line with the times.

Was time to update my laptop. After heavy research I decided on the HP Pavilion. My requirements were full number keypad and touch screen. The touchscreen came with a stylus that is not as responsive as I would like it too be, my finger is a better option. The flip to tablet mode is great in concept, but because of the size and weight of the laptop it makes it very difficult to work comfortably. I am a little surprised at how often I get a low battery alert, I have not timed it out, maybe just an indicator that I’m working too much. I would overall recommend, just carefully review overallsize and weight so you are not surprised.

This is a 2018 model year HP (aka Hewlett Packard) Pavilion X360 15.6 convertible laptop with a model ID of 15-CR0037WM. Strangely enough I started out looking for a 10 or 11 inch convertible computer with support for an active stylus. The problem I ran into is that all the smaller convertible laptops that I looked at had HUGE bezels. You could get a 10 or 11 display but they always seem to come in a 13-14 inch computer. I got this particular unit from Amazon as a used machine for similar price to a comparable smaller display model with an oversize case. Note that any N-Trig technology Pen will work with this computer (Microsoft bought N-Trig is 2015). However the HP TIlt Pen (2MY21AA) supports the most features and is also one of the most expensive. The standard HP Pen (1MR94AA) is the one that is normally shipped with this model. The case may appear to be Aluminum but it is Plastic so be careful about scratches. My machien has been upgraded by removing the mechanical hard drive and replacing the Intel Optane M.2 Cache with a Crucial P1 one terabyte NVMe PCIe drive (CP1000P1SSD8). I also added another 4 Gbytes of DDR4 RAM (Crucial CT13500844) for dual channel RAM performance. These upgrades resulted in a significant performance increase as demonstrated by the Passmark scores (with the exception of 2D Mark). Even the CPU performance ratings increased due to less Operating System Driver overhead. Currently the Passmark scores with a clean install of Windows 10 Home are: Passmark Overall: 3240 CPU Benchmark: 5683 2D Mark: 669 3D Mark: 1139 Memory Mark: 2379 Disk Mark: 14039 At some point I intend to upgrade the Operating system to Linux Mint however at this point I have not be able to get past the interference of the embedded Intel RST BIOS module. For Pen applications I recommend the consideration of Krita and NoteLab. Point of interest is the BUMB 15.5 inch messenger bag fits this Laptop perfectly.
