I suspect that this computer would have performed as advertised in the other reviews. However, since from the first moment I turned the computer on, I got a blue screen and an error reading BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO. When I called HP, they informed me that the hard drive was corrupted, and that the best course of action would be returning the computer to the seller, which I will be doing.

So mad. I was stoked at first. Got it, never got the active stylus like I’m suppose to as promised. They made they deal and boom. No communication. Why? I’ll tell you why, it’s cause the hard drive was corrupt. It never works. I been trying and trying. Checked the boot sequencing. After everything is said and done. The tech I took it to, told me it’s a paperweight at this point. It had a ton of scratches and the screen. Shame on you I got ripped off and amazon must’ve changed cause they aren’t doing anything about it and vipoutlet refuses to respond to all my inquires. I think I’m done with amazon.

I bought this laptop 6 weeks ago and enjoyed it up to this point. It started acting strange and slow yesterday and when I restarted it today it could no longer boot up. After an hour with HP support, the hard drive has failed and the whole thing is junk. Its past the 30 days for an Amazon return and HP is estimating 3-4 weeks to send it in and fix it, plus potential costs even though it is supposed to be under warranty. This laptop has only been used for school work, all if which is now lost.

Worse laptop I’ve ever had! It’s clicking in things by itself, going to websites, pausing my videos on YouTube, change de videos, I can’t even write one homework without getting mad! I will totally return this computer as soon is possible. It’s so much better to pay a little bit more but have something better

This is the single worst laptop I have ever owned. I bought this laptop purely to be a display for information for potential clientele and it has never worked properly. This laptop is powered off completely each time I am done using it which is, at most, once a week. The laptop arrived with damaged line of pixels. I was told by HP support to have the laptop repaired locally and they would reimburse the cost. I did not. I left the line damaged because it was barely noticeable and only occurred with green colors. After finishing up with a new client, I brought the laptop home and selected the “update and shut down” option. It crashed during update and went to a blue screen. I was told by support to do a system restore to solve the issue. During the system restore, the laptop crashed again. This corrupted the operating system. Three days later, the recovery media arrives via mail and I am able to get the laptop running again. The very same day, the internet stops working. It now begins to disconnect every few minutes from WiFi and they cannot solve the issue. HP support spends the next few days trying to solve the issue to no avail. They have since changed settings to the point that I can no longer open any program that is not an app. Their new solution is to factory reset the laptop once again. Three times in a week. I wanted something simple and reliable. I got neither one.
