HP Flagship 15.6 15-ay191ms HD Touchscreen Signature Laptop (Intel Core i3-7100u 2.40 GHz, 8 GB DDR4 Memory, 1 TB HDD, DVD Burner, HDMI, HD Webcam, Bluetooth, Win 10)

I have had this laptop for under 5 months, and its already falling apart. Within 2 months, an upgrade was required, and the drivers for the audio were uninstalled. After a lengthy chat with tech support, a new driver was installed, but sound quality diminished significantly. At the 4 month mark, the screen started glitching. The computer still works fine, but I would have to close the computer to "re-start" the monitor. Just this week (about 5 months in), my computer shut off because it says the fan is not cooling properly and may result in losing files. Additionally, today the volume stopped working again. This computer is crap. If I had to do-over, I would definitely purchase something different.

I guess you get what you pay for. It works okay. But the 3rd or 4th time the battery comes unplugged & you lose everything you were working on, youll wish you spent more. My battery finally just gave out completely. Id buy a new one but Im afraid it might be a problem with the connection and not the battery itself. So the laptop only works when its plugged in. I wish I just bought a better laptop in the first place. Im clear currently looking at redoing a bunch of work bcuz it came unplugged for a second. So frustrating

I bought this as a gift for my father to replace a severely outdated desktop. While the hardware itself seems ok, the laptop has crashed several times, possibly due to issues with the Windows 10 OS. My father, who is learning some of the newer technology, has been locked out of the computer several times due to the OS not acknowledging his passwords for access after a crash. I had been under the impression that HP put out a quality product, but due to issues with this computer, is the last time I will be purchasing an HP computer of any sort.
