I am amazed at how fast this one responds. It is a beautiful machine. It looks really fancy, touch and durable. It does not come pre -loaded with a bunch of crap, you have the option to download what you want onto the computer. I love that it has touch screen and an optics drive. Way happy with this purchase. The 512 SSD makes a difference in performance. I am not a computer expert but I took the advice of my IT guy and he suggested this computer.

Highly recommend this laptop AND Tech Warehouse...its a sleek, fast machine with beautiful display. This is my 3rd Envy 17t over the years and the best so far...the SSD is quiet and fast! I found Tech Warehouse specs and price better than dealing direct with HP and easier than ordering through HP. To me customer service is equal, or more important, than the computer. Tech Warehouse service and support is outstanding. I called and emailed them a few times before purchase. If I didnt get through immediately they promptly called back. One time I called and didnt leave a message...using caller ID, they called back later and asked if I needed anything. After placing my order they called and emailed to make sure I received my laptop promptly and offered assistance with setup..invited me to call anytime if I needed help with anything. Kevin and Mike are great to deal with. HIGHLY recommend Tech Warehouse and this 17t system.

I needed to upgrade my old computer and was somewhat hesitant to spend the little bit extra $ than I had in the past for a new laptop. But, am I glad I did! I am not a computer tech-y person but realized that I needed a computer to make my computing experience less frustrating than it had been with my older technology. And, because I am not a tech-y person and wanted to make sure I got it set up correctly (plus I had some software questions) I had a computer consultant come and help me. He was very, very impressed with my new HP Envy computer...as am I. Also, the seller (Tech Warehouse) could not have been more helpful. Working with them was truly the best seller experience I have had with Amazon, and I have been with Amazon from its very beginning. I had several questions, shipping issues, and other related topics that required their input. They were always, always, always prompt in their responses, exceedingly helpful, and professional at all times. Above everything else it was clear that they have real regard for their customers and showed that in every way. Thank you, Tech Warehouse for the “above and beyond” care you gave.

Love this laptop. I have only had it one day, but love it so far. Its really fast and the sound is SIMPLY FANTASTIC. But, the label the outer box came in was torn. Not the delivery box, but the box the actual laptop box is placed in...that label which seals that box was torn.

This laptop was easy to setup. The screen is way better than any laptop Ive had before and so are the speakers. This isnt to say that an audiophile will think they are good enough, but so many laptops have speakers that are almost worthless. They are too quiet to hear well and tinny. These are easily good enough for watching youtube videos and things like that. The speed of the processor, the nice keyboard with numeric keyboard and the speakers are all good, but the screen is what really sets this laptop apart. It is a nice size, plenty bright, has good color, and great resolution. It is easy for me to have multiple windows up at the same time and move back and forth between then easily. I havent really used the batter, so I cant speak to the battery life. I moved up from a 14" to a 17" laptop, but havent really noticed the weight difference. (I carry my laptop back and forth to work and home every day along with a decent amount of papers.) I dont normally use the touchscreen. I actually didnt realize it had a touchscreen. It seemed to work well for the 1 minute I tried it out. I bought this computer for office work and major multitasking. I havent used it for games.

Im very please with this laptop so far. It has all the features that were important to me - solid state drive in the size I wanted; optical drive so I could load software I already have; backlit keyboard for use with low lighting; touch screen; great graphics capabilities. It is lightening fast compared to my 4 year old HP Pavillion. And if appearance matters to you, this one is a gem!

Its a beautiful slick machine, no doubt about it! Boot-time is quick. Sound is awesome. Keyboard is good. Decent speed! However some issues I picked up: 1. The Battery life isnt too great, youre looking at maybe 4-5 hours on a full charge...I would expect more 2. The speed is good, but my desktop PC with a 7700K CPU runs faster (not sure if its a fair comparison). The only thing that I can think of is that the nvme SSD isnt very fast (Ive got a Samsung EVO in my desktop) 3. The white backlighting isnt much use in low light, as the grey keys dont offer much contrast. I sometimes have better visibility with the back-light off. 4. The touchpad is large and works, but if you working on your bed, the base of your wrists can touch the pad and cause all sorts of annoying things when you typing. 5. The laptop is quite heavy. On a more subjective issue, which may not affect others, I chose a 17inch over a 15.6 inch, thinking it would be nicer. However this meant that the laptop bag has to cater for the larger 17 inches which is more rare to find than the 15.6 inch variety. Overall, Im still happy with this machine.

After reading the reviews on this laptop, I thought Id take a chance. Good risk. As good as described. The only downside is I decided to buy the same laptop for my granddaughter, and am informed that this laptop is no longer available. I guess thats just the way it goes with really great products.

Okay,, so I got this laptop for my dad. He loves it, and it is really fast and useful for his work but I did not realize how big this laptop was going to be, and he complained about the weight. He travels a lot with this laptop and mentioned that It was heavier than his previous laptops.I lifted and yeah, it is heavier than my HP laptop of 17 inches. Screen is good and it allows a good visibility If you read a lot of documents or design or play. The computer overall is really good and I think he will use it for a long time. The laptop arrived in perfect conditions and on time too.
