The double hard drives works great and boots up as fast as you can sign in. Using a small SSD for computer operation and a larger one for data storage is a winning idea. UP DATE: (A few months later). I still think this is a great computer, But. If you watch movies, videos or listen to music on it youll be in for an unpleasant surprise. The speakers are located under the front section of the computer. Unless you place the computer on a hard surface so the sound can bounce off to hear, the volume is very, very low. Even on a hard surface the sound is very low. I wound up buying an external speaker just so I can hear it comfortably. Otherwise I need to often turn my head, lean towards the computer just to hear it most often while watching Net Flicks or U-TUBE for instance.

After having this for 1.5 months the SSD died. HP was great to pay to return it and fix the problem but everything on it was lost. It seems to be working better now, but I am nervous to use it much or to store anything on it. Speaker volume very low, a must to use external speaker. Battery life is great and computer is fast to boot up.

It seems to be a good laptop. Unfortunately there seems to be problem with it since it keeps crashing when I unplug the charging cable. I will update this review based on the response to my service request from the seller.

Ive had this computer for perhaps a day and a half, and I LOVE it! The SSD drive is lightning fast and blazing with the programs I have on it, as well as the boot-up, things are going smooth, and the fact that I can use it as a Touch Screen is just absolutely fun for various games and programs. My only nitpicks are the keyboard, but thats more my own comfort level and having used a board without a number pad for a while, as well as the plastic casing. Id have rather for the money paid for an actual metal casing instead of plastic that looks silver. But aesthetics aside, great machine, great product, and great delivery!

Screen hinges are a problem with many laptop models. I am on my second HP with a faulty hinge, but blame myself for actually using my laptop on my lap. It gets abuse from constantly moving from lap to table and back. BUT, this laptop was purchased for my husband, and the laptop always stays stationary on his desk. The hinge broke simply by opening and closing the screen one too many times, and that broke the connecting wire. All this happened right after the year warranty ran out, of course. It was cheaper to buy a new one than to repair, so about a year was all we got out of it. I gave it 3 stars because it worked well otherwise, but will stay away from HP in the future.

This thing is sooo slow and problem ridden that it is only good as a paperweight! Ive been around laptops for over 20 years and do a lot of my own software and hardware upgrades, and I really regret this purchase. Fortunately I only bought it to use for my daughter who is just learning how to use a computer. Dont waste your money on this thing!

This computer is for school mostly. Works great. I really use the touch screen a lot. Scrolling is my only gripe. The dual touch scroll doesnt seem to be smooth for me. It is jerky and annoying. But other than that really enjoy this purchase.

I really like the computer. It is pretty fast, easy to set up, touch screen works great My 1 con is that the fan is pretty loud. I’ve worked on HPs several times before (work laptop & last personal laptop) for being brand new, the fan is quite loud and sometimes distracting. I wish that could be fixed, otherwise I think it is great

Absolute JUNK and possible fraud on HP and sellers part. Will NOT stay WiFi connected, and it wont stay connected or work with now ancient Bluetooth technology. Multiple sound issues. Built like Chinese throw away junk. Started slowing down immediately. My LAST HP ANYTHING. They phoned this one in KNOWING it was CRAP. Going back to Mac. Non existent warranty. Overall sketchy product and seller
