This is a great laptop which is straightforward to set up and easy to use. However I have already found that the cooling fan can become very noisy and so I have concern about the potential risk of overheating in the longer term. Buyers should also be aware that there is no traditional USB port and so you will need to buy a somewhat expensive adapter in order to use this.

I absolutely love this computer. I work on it everyday and travel with it for work. The touch screen is great when you get tired of the trackpad. The rose gold color is beautiful and I dont normally pay extra for a color but very pleased. Its so comfortable and the white keyboard doesnt look dirty like you would expect. Great purchase.

Received laptop quickly and as expected. This is a great little laptop. The 4k screen is truly amazing and is bright enough that I can easily use the computer outdoors. The biometrics makes logging in a cinch and is truly so much better than typing in passwords. Everything works as expected. It can get pretty warm when sitting on my lap if I am putting it through its paces (e.g. large Microsoft Word and Excel files). If near a portable fan though, it can be cooled down pretty quickly. This likely wont be an issue for those not heavily taxing the processor or using it on a hard surface like a table.

I think this is going to do what I need it to do during travel. I am a "Mac", but this PC was powerful enough to do my daily work while traveling, at minimal size, and minimal weight. I really just need this for email, social media, and paperwork while traveling. Nice design. Lightweight and sturdy. At home, I can plug it into a big screen to use as desktop when desired. Great value to the investment return!

Pros: 1080p IPS Screen SSD is FAST! 500~ MB/s read, 450~ MB/s write in my tests Boots in under 8 seconds, shutdown in around 3 Feels very solid built, no cheap plastic feel SecureBoot can be disabled!!! Almost 0 bloatware installed from the factory Cons: Only con is minimal, and is the trackpad and how I use it. The palm rest detection setting made it so it would sometimes not register my clicks, but after shutting that off, the thing works fine! Overall this is one of the nicest laptops I have ever owned, and would easily recommend it to anyone looking for a ultra-powerful ultrabook. This thing is light, looks sexy, feels very well built, and is extremely fast!

I only received this yesterday. I got it as a gift to my sister for her birthday, I hope she will like it. Honestly, I am not a fan of windows laptops, but my sister is. I have to say I was so impressed from the moment I opened the box. A very sophisticated laptop, love all the details about it, the color, the light weight, the voice assistance for the installation, very smooth touch screen. Processor fast, high quality display, not noisy at all as I have read in some of the reviews. The order came timely and sealed well for the brand new XPS. It felt like a MacBook sophistication with windows laptop. Amazing, certainly recommend the seller and the XPS Dell!

The XPS-13 build quality is great, the laptop is beautiful, small, light, and performs well. This is one of three XPS laptops Ive bought in the last six months. They are a bit expensive, thats the only drawback.

I needed a new (non-Apple) laptop for some work with Microsoft, so I did a call out on facebook: A Windows laptop that looks as cute and tiny as a MacBook Air but not stupid expensive. My Dell XPS 13 was the result. I love it, its tiny, its fast (even with photoshop), its stable. I think Im the only person who likes Windows 8.1.
