Good running product however had dead pixles on the screen when using the stylus would not pick it up sent back to try another one hope its just a one time incident. Other than that loved it.

Setup was easy and have been really enjoying the significant upgrade in speed compared to my old ASUS. Touchscreen has worked well and just used the pen to ink my signature on some online forms and it worked great. Dont know about long term durability but initial quality has been awesome.

I ordered this laptop on March 5th and the battery has already lost most of its ability to charge. For example, 20 minutes ago the laptop was claiming that I had 2 hrs 48 min remaining of battery life. Now, its saying that I have 19 minutes of battery life.

Battery life deteriorated quickly and wifi stopped working completely which turned out to be internal hardware issue. Factory warranty ended within a few months of purchase as the laptop shipped to me was at the tale end of this warranty. A friend if mine works for Dells supply chain supervision and he said Dells parts are becoming worse and worse as the company looks for cheaper parts to have their products compete with its Chinese competitors. Essentially a race to the bottom in quality and the people working for Dell know this. It was a great laptop when it worked. However the quality of it working lasted just months not even a year.

Purchased in August 2018. In the last two months, the keyboard malfunctioned (various keys simply do not work), the laptop simply shut down and would not restart, and now again various keys are not working. Dell has "fixed" each problem without cost to me, but it takes about 10 days to two weeks between malfunction, call customer service, receiving a shipping box from Dell, and then waiting for its return from the regional service center. When it is not broken, it is fast, screen is bright and does what I need. But 30 plus days out for repairs in 9 months is unacceptable. Will not purchase a Dell again

My first Windows 10 computer, and my first flipbook after using a MacBook and then a Chromebook. Overall, a solid computer. But the touchpad is not sensitive enough. Clicks dont get registered the first time. Moving the mouse just a little with touchpad doesnt work, usually. I had to turn off pinch to zoom because it was always activating when I didnt mean for it to. Same with right-click in the lower right corner. And still I have problems, even after those changes to settings. Use of some websites is frustrating because of this. And this after turning touchpad sensitivity up to high. On one job app website, I had to click everything two or three times to get it to work. Even typing this review was frustrating because the cursor would jump around. Otherwise, a fine computer for the price. Far less frustrations in tablet mode. Maybe a firmware or OS update will resolve this issue. Or maybe someone in comments can fill me in on the right tweak to settings.

I ordered this item on Oct 30, 2018, when it was advertised as "2018 Dell Inspiron 13 5000 2-in-1 13.3 inch Full HD Touchscreen Backlit Keyboard Laptop PC, Intel Core i7-8550U Quad-Core, 8GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, 2 USB" On registering this device on Dells website, it became obvious that an older 2017 laptop with almost expired warranty was fraudulently passed off as a newer 2018 model!!

Face recognition isnt the best, and have had weird issues with internet connectivity. Anytime I turn this laptop on, the wifi completely cuts out, and this has never happened with any other device, with there being a total of 4 laptops and 1 PC in the house with other devices. Thought it was our router or provider, but beginning to think that this is an issue with the laptop drivers with the way it came. Good laptop, but the internet issue is a massive pain

So much on the internet forums about how this Dell makes your speakers pop. With mine. It was true. Also had a problem with saying it didnt recognize its own power charger. Yet another thing everyone talks about on the web with this laptop. Nothing but headaches. Returned for refund.

Got this Dell laptop 4 months ago, to date, performed nicely and speedy. The only drawback is the casing feels a bit flimsy. Great great product for the price.
