If there was an option for 0 stars this would take the award. These people are absolute thieves. In the description it stated certified refurbished Mac book pro certified by Apple. It stated it was a fresh new rebuild. When I received this computer it was a dented up used POS. Definitely not a refurbished computer certified by Apple. This with somebodys old junk Mac book pro that they tricked me into spending $800 on. By far one of the slowest brick computers they have ever seen. Funny how it states in the description "certified by apple" because apple WONT EVEN TOUCH IT! Because apple states there has been an outside unauthorized influence other then apple in the coumpter, No matter how much money i offer apple to fix the coumpter so it works properly, apple wont touch it! Be VERY Ecareful what these people do is post up their old brick a broken used computer and trick you with an inaccurate description to make you think you are getting something better than you are. FROM THE SECOND I UNBOXED THIS COUMPTER AND IT TOOK OVER 25 MIN JUST TO START UP, I KNEW SOMETHING WASNT RIGHT

Purchased computer with the intention to save some money instead of buying new! The MacBook was in excellent physical shape. No scratches on the screen and barely any wear on the outside case. The charger did not look to be genuine apple but did work just as fine. The packaging was excellent and delivery was fast!!! BUT within the first day of delivery (fortunately for me) I found out it was not working properly. While updating computer, it froze for over an hour. I know it was not a slow internet connection because we have very fast WiFi in our home and other MacBooks in the home connect just fine. I ended up giving up and shutting it down. It also would not sync or update iTunes. I returned computer and will be buying new. Maybe I was unlucky or maybe it’s because it was an older mid 2012 MacBook Pro but its just not worth the headache to try and buy refurbished again. I appreciate that amazon certified it and gave warranty which is why I gave it a shot. Too bad it don’t work out.

Received the macbook pro a few days ago. I must say its in excellent condition. Barely a scratch on the laptop other than the bottom area which is understandable due to movement on surfaces but nothing easily noticable. Computer runs smooth. Would suggest upgrading the hard drive to SSD for even faster performance. My only CON is that the battery life isnt that great but only $40 to replace the battery so its not a huge issue. Only reason why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

First a caveat: these are used laptops that are several years old, so its kind of a luck of the draw situation - in other words, your results may vary. But the one I got (at the low, low price of $549.99) seems to be a real winner. Id rate the cosmetic condition as VG++. Just a few scuffs on the case, and the screen condition is excellent. And so far the functional/performance quality seems to be "as new". I have updated the OS to High Sierra, and it runs great, so I shouldnt need to worry about obsolescence for quite a while. Im not sure if Ill take the next step to Mojave - could be pushing the envelope? The mid-2012 MacBook Pros were, IMO, the last great Mac laptops - theyve been steadily going downhill in build quality and functionality ever since. So Im pretty thrilled to have one that gives every indication of having a few good years left in it (but, of course, we run Time Machine every day, dont we).

I was pretty close to buying a brand new laptop, and while doing research came across an article about the 2012 Macbook Pros versatility. Basically, grab yourself an SSD hard drive, either install it yourself or bring it to a service shop, and you have yourself a laptop that can keep up with the likes of a brand new laptop. This is the last model Apple made that can be opened up and easily swap out the hard drive. You can also upgrade the RAM, but the 8GB this model comes with holds up as well. This purchase was great for my needs, and everything came as advertised. I will say that you can upgrade to the current latest OS Mojave on this model still, however, the word is Apple is slowly phasing out the older models from updates every year. Just something to keep in mind if staying up to date on the OS is important to you.

Third time buying a Mac laptop on Amazon. I am never unhappy. I take it out of the box it looks exactly like a brand new laptop except that it has all my programs pre-loaded, so its actually BETTER. Popped on the case plugged in and ready to go. Thank you so much to the seller for doing such a great job. Im sure this will last me a few years at least. I highly recommend the seller and this laptop for sure. Its fast and has all the specs I wanted for under $500. You cant beat that!!

I purchased my laptop about 4 months ago and it is a great investment. The product was shipped in a timely. The packaging was adequate and an adult needed to sign for delivery. Which, gave me peace of mind. It came with a charger that was wrapped which I felt was new or nearly new. The laptop itself is on the heavier side but it might impartial because I carry a light tablet for work purposes. It is not terribly heavy about the weight of a standard text book. Not a chem book which is weighted with the tears of a lot of college freshmans lol. Overall I give my laptop a solid 5 stars. I also would spring for the warranty that is recommended.

Other than a small dent In the top and a few dents on one corner, it looks brand new. Starts up instantly and seems to run flawlessly. Battery life is alot better than i expected given its year. It is on the heavier side but again, its a 2012 model so that is to be expected. Would definitely recommend techdeals4less!
