I paid $199 for this on the Treasure Truck and what a deal it is. A metal body that feels rock solid and a full HD screen. The omission of a couple items leaves it falling short of what I would expect. There is no SD card slot to add memory, no backlit keyboard, and no touch screen. Three features that I will make sure my next computer has included. If you can live without the touch screen and the little keyboard go for it but the absence of a memory card slot is inexcusable and a sign if corporate cost-cutting at its worst. So I can NOT recommend this laptop because corporate brass got cheap with the SD card reader. It is sad that they did that because it was so close to being a good deal.

Love it. Does just what I want. Internet browsing anywhere without fuss. Without the constant lengthy updates and reboots. The tradeoff is worth it overall but the keyboard is small, no "del", "home" or "end" key so if you are writing a lot you might miss these. Battery life is great, the portability perfect, and the low price makes it a no brainer for me.

This is my 2nd Chromebook. I had to replace my first because it finally died (after a few years). So far (only came this morning), I am loving it! I am def a convert and will probably never buy a Mac or PC again. Started it up, logged in to my Google account and I was off and running! Nothing lost, no transfer of anything. Easy peasy. I like the feel of the Acer and the keyboard is comfortable. And, it was delivered ahead of schedule! I hope to be using this for quite awhile.

i got this on the treasure truck so it was a hundo $$ off, totally worth it. i needed something for web browsing and google docs. this fits the bill 100%. it did take like an hour to update once i opened it but no big deal. everything else has been fast. the battery life is UNREAL. it isnt too heavy though im not planning to bring it outside of the house (somewhat bc acer is an embarassing brand lol and somewhat bc im not a student who needs to work at a coffee shop or whatever). im an apple person ALL THE WAY and i am impressed with this machine for the two hundred dollar price tag im unclear if this can have apps that arent google apps but i dont need google apps.

Because of my muscle memory and habits with other android tablets and phones I do want to touch the screen to swipe and I know thats not possible with this version. Still its a great travel laptop for the money with a decent selection of accessories you can ad for cheap. It is minimal so please know what your buying. I have one issue and that is the charging cable I wish it had more resent type usb c or micro usb charging just so I could charge in my car when needed and not have to add another accessory. It is light on the on board storage so please get your self an external hard drive or thumb drive.

Love this laptop! It meet the needs for all basic uses. I am a teacher and use the Google Suite for most projects, so it works great. I like how lightweight it is and processing speed is great! If you need a basic laptop that is easy to transport with a great battery life then this is the product for you!

I bought this via the Amazon Treasure Truck at a great discount. Its really like discovering gold. This machine is FAST FAST FAST. I get that its because Chromebooks are supposed to be lightweight in terms of computing power, so I suppose my discovery is that I dont need a PC with a lot of computing power. I needed one optimized for my computing needs. This laptop is a clear winner at fitting that bill. Cant recommend enough.

Just what I needed to replace my previous 4-year old Acer Chromebook. I have 0 complaints. Handles video calls great as well as video with other tabs open (something my old one could no longer handle). I work as a full-time freelancer and easily on the computer for 10+ hours every day. Chromebook always keeps up without issues. Im a huge fan of the operating system. I especially love how quiet it is when I have to listen to my boyfriends Macbook chugging along. The case it came with is really nice too and the side pocket is even felt lined and fits my 1st gen ipad air.

Bought this a few months ago when my HP laptop crapped out (after less than 6 months). It’s super, super fast and lightweight. I absolutely love it! The battery really does last a long time. I bring it to work to help me plan my classes and I typically only need to charge it once per week. Worth the switch from a traditional laptop.
