This unit arrived defective and would only charge when turned off. After researching the issue, I found it to be fairly common with HP laptops. Furthermore when I looked up the serial number on HP’s website, I learned that only six months remained on the manufacturer’s warranty. I have no issues with refurbished units, but this was not marketed as such. I have since returned it. In fairness, the seller did offer to send a replacement, but I have opted to buy a Lenovo instead. The laptop itself seemed good. Very nice, large screen, with touchscreen controls. Large keyboard with a good feel to it (albeit with little nubs on all the keys). Fast boot up. Good response time.

This laptop is perfect for family members who want to browse the internet and open up basic applications. The quad core and SSD drive make it a little future proof especially for the price. It is super fast because of the SSD instead of HD. Dont like 128GB drive? Spend $50 on a 1,000GB Passport.

This is a very capable, fast laptop. Its a good value in that it has a lot of features that make it very handy. It is rather heavy for a laptop, and its battery life is pretty mediocre.

I am mainly an email, web browser and word document user looking for an inexpensive option without cutting quality. Had for about a month now with no issues! Came fast by FedEx in sufficient packaging to protect to computer. Easy set up.

The product is in the shop now being examined. It wont stay on line-keeps popping off line for no apparent reason. Looks like it will be returned. I havent even used it yet.

Loving my new laptop computer. Using it for an online course and it does the job. No complaints and processor seems fast. Don’t really use the touchscreen but it does respond well when I do.
