I did not like the Ram soldered in - you cannot go above 8 and get true duel channel performance - For its specs, I thought it would be faster - Also, The OS was not installed properly. I spent 30 years in computers and could have done a re-install but after paying what I did, I sent it back rather then fixing it myself. The Product specs do NOT list the Model #. A decent machine but even at that price point, It should have preformed better. I would not buy this machine again or recommend it.

If youre looking for a budget laptop that doesnt demand that you make substantial compromises because of the price point, this is it. Impressions: - Nice, sleek finish - Seems very sturdy/well-made - Doesnt come with bloatware, except McAfee. - The processor is quite fast, especially considering this is a 360 dollars laptop. - A LOT of manufacturers overlook this, ... but you can flip the laptop open with just one hand. This sounds minuscule, but in practice, its VERY nice you can after dealing with ones where the base just lifts up with the tension of opening. Havent tried any games on it yet, but I dont have high expectations since this isnt made for that. But for everything else, Its 100% sufficient. Please be aware that the laptop may actually seem slow and laggy at first, but thats due to Windows 10 automatic updates running in the background, just let it all finish and then disable the automatic updates, and youre golden.

After reading some negative reviews I was a bit reserved about getting this laptop. I decided to go ahead and give it a chance because it was a great price considering the specifications, and Amazon is usually pretty good about taking care of returns and refunds if the product is bad. If you are looking for a good laptop to handle day to day tasks like surfing the web, watching YouTube videos, Facebook, Email, etc. this laptop will definitely handle all that with ease. It had no problems rendering video for some of my work projects, and it seems to handle casual gaming pretty well. The screen graphics are not the best, but at this price point it is not a deal breaker. It isnt a touch screen laptop, but for me I honestly dont care about that anyway. It runs slow when you first start it up but after you download the initial updates for Windows 10, it runs just fine. It comes without any bloatware which is great. I personally recommend installing Malwarebytes and getting rid of the McAfee Anti-virus that comes preinstalled because McAfee uses more system resources, and I have experienced good results using Malwarebytes. All in all if you are looking for a good quality laptop at a decent price, then this is the best bang for your buck.

I purchased this strictly for work, to replace my 2011 MacBook Pro. With a time crunch and a budget, it seemed to meet all the specifications. Zero personal use on the computer. Within 1 week, by my 4th shift, the laptop will completely freeze. Mouse pad frozen, Bluetooth mouse unresponsive, keyboard unresponsive. It has frozen 4 times on me today in a matter of 7 hours. Completely unreliable! Work is making me return and I agree with their decision completely. My early 2011 MacBook Pro lasted me 7.5 years, and this laptop did not last me 7 days.

It stopped working after 3 days. When I say stopped working, it would turn on, but the start button on the keyboard and clicking from the trackpad would not work. Task manager could not be opened. Amazon handled the return quickly and professionally.

Have some clients who wanted me to come to them for income tax preparation and consulting - hard to do that without a laptop computer, so I purchased a very nice laptop computer. With just a few clients, this laptop will be paid for several times over. Plus its very nice - fast, easy to use - probably the only real issue I have is ....needs to have Win 10 Pro installed, then all will be right with the world of tax again!

I purchased this laptop the middle of March, my older HP is running 8.1 and I normally replace them every so often just to have a back up. This review isnt so much based on the laptop but the OS. I hate windows 10 hate hate hate hate hate it. The levono is nothing special did what I needed it to do. I dont game, just browse watch videos, netflix, banking, etc. the resolution isnt good on this but, I have an external monitor, so that wasnt an issue. My main reason for this review my have more to do with Micro Soft than the laptop. There was absolutely no way to turn off the updates for 10. Believe I tired everything. The noise this laptop made while downloading updates was unbearable. It took me 3 days to figure out how to get rid of cortana, and the amount of bloat ware on this machine was insane. I turned the darn thing off for a month, then thought Ill give it another shot, but 10 was driving me nuts with bloat ware, and constant updates. I had everything set correctly spent hours watching videos and nothing would work. So I take this laptop into a geek, and asked if he could install 8.1 on it and get rid of 10. He said sure. A couple hours later the geek says this computer is so new there is no way for him to put 8.1 or 7. MS has put some new features through the damn updates that will not allow this computer to do it. So my issue isnt really with the computer, its with 10. I purchased this computer, I should be able to run whatever version of windows I want. Micro Soft disagrees. Asked my geek if he could put Linux Mint on it and he said sure.......................Bye windows........................... So since March I had a computer I hated, that wasnt great to begin with, that constantly interrupted me, made noise like crazy, had poor resolution, and is making me learn a new operating system. Thanks MS! I am changing my review to 3. As of 4 days ago, my geek got rid of 10 and put Linux Mint 19.1 on this system and its working great. As for the comments below from Lenovo representative, let me tell you I spent more than 2 days watching videos on controlling the damn updates, nothing would work. At one point in the services I had the updates disabled. Guess how long windows 10 let that work????? After the second update the option to change anything update related was taken away from me in services. Not only that I had my erthernet turned to metered to control the updates, in one of the damn updates they took that option away as well. Not only would windows updates drive me nuts, but they where constantly downloading updates and slowing my internet down. I will never buy another computer with anything windows on it. Its unacceptable to me that windows thinks they know better than the end user.
