3 stars for the product. Would have been higher except for misrepresentation of the product in the details and lack of response by the seller. Overall this product seems pretty solid as a good working machine. I purchased this laptop because I like HP and because the product writeup said this laptop has a backlit keyboard. Well gee it would have been nice to have received the advertised item. I am a writer and do a lot of my work in the wee hours of the morning, hence the need for a backlit keyboard. I am so very disappointed that the one feature that I wanted above all the others is not on the laptop I received. Especially after asking others and being told yes it does have that feature. I tried reaching out to the Seller ,Freecity, but as of this writing they failed to answer my questions. I like the laptop other than the misrepresentation which isnt the fault of the laptop but whoever wrote the product details. I dont have time to mess with returning the laptop and waiting for refunds etc. My time is just as valuable as the next persons, so Buyer Beware. Tis the season to take advantage and screw the buyer. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. Strike 2.. Think I should just stick to ebook purchases.. Hard for those to get messed up .

Bought as a backup to my Yoga which has to be returned for service :( Cant live without my machine for 2 weeks and not going to send them my data. Hard to believe for this price you can get a lightweight functional laptop with a backlit keyboard. With Windows 10 its easy to mirror your system so both my machines are basically in-sync with the exception of 1 or 2 licensed local installation software programs. When not used as a backup machine, it will be hooked up to the flat screen for netflix, prime video. No problems or hiccups at all thus far. Smooth startup experience. I was nervous about a 4GB machine but it appears to work fine. I did find the limit however: when copying a 1GB PST file for a POP email account over, the machine ran out of resources. Nothing catastrophic, closed Excel and the open browser tabs and the process finished up without any further hiccups. AC adapter is relatively svelte which is nice, although not USB C. The price of computing has fallen so deeply, I wont ever go back to relying on a single machine. If you setup your system to fully-utilize One Drive sync capabilities and dont rely on multiple single-license locally-installed software programs, there are very few headaches to maintaining two systems, which practically pays for expensive warranty and service options for a single machine.

And it is not a coincidence. I received and activated two computers. I then installed Kaspersky antivirus on one of them and it successfully identified and removed the Trojan horse already infiltrated right before. The case of the other computer is worse, when I tried to install Kaspersky security, the Windows detected damage that was impossible to repair and the computer shut down forever. Fortunately, I am able to return it since this happened immediately after I received the computer.

Absolutely love this laptop. Its the perfect size, light weight, fast performance,and easy to set up. Although I did just get it today, I still have hope that I will still love this device in the long run. Also a lot of people kept saying that it doesnt come with a backlit keyboard, so I was surprised when this feature was actually included with my laptop.

Couple of things to clear up. 1. The keyboard does not light up. 2. The case color is rose not grey. It is light weight and a nice laptop for simple tasks.
