Its a really good deal, but Im not sure if I like the "refurbished" part. Theres a small scratch on the back, and my enter key looks like its cracked. I plan on returning it. If you get a good one, these specs are a good deal at this value.

First I must say I was skeptical about buting a refurbished laptop. I ordered it like 2 am or later and it didnt sit well with me so the first thing I did when I got up at 10 was ro tey cancel the order. But it was too late it was already shipped

I love this laptop, well made, has a nice weight to it. It has that feel and weight of something well made. This is my 4th lenovo and having previously worked for IBM (over 20 years ago). I prefer them over mac. I dont think most people realize that the ram really makes a big difference in speed and staying fast for years to come. This one has 16gb of ram and I highly recommend buying the most you can afford.

This is the second computer they sent me in a week. The first one had a faulty keyboard (C B P keys didnt work) so much for QA/QC. Second one clearly works. Amazon did a great job replacing the first one. Im happier with this one now that I updated all the drivers through Lenovo but I would think thats part of the "factory certification", am I wrong? What drove me to do this (pun intended) was a problem where the monitor on the laptop was not working but my secondary was (via USB). Kinda freaked me out a bit. Updated all the drivers and now seems fine. Only time will tell but maybe shame on me for falling for the "factory refreshed" and maybe should have just sprung for brand new....

They mention on the description that they make sure was inspected to work and look as a new, the laptop look old and has 4 scratches one of them is bigger, I couldn’t return it because I don’t live in USA, I felt scammed. Please don’t buy here.

If you are looking for something with good battery life, great touchscreen use, and speed, this might not be the item for you. I have always been leery of purchasing refurbished electronics. Well, this purchase confirmed my concerns. Very slow response time and poor battery life. For a few bucks more, buy a brand new model at Costco.

This was my 1st refurbished product and I ordered it after talking to Amazon customer service. The 1st laptop which I got was having a white line on the screen. So I have to return it. Then they send me a new one which was having some problem with graphics. and I got the third one. No lines on the screen, and described graphics. Awesome! But this happiness was just for 20 days. After which the screen starts blacking out. At first, it started with the screen blacking out was just for a blink of an eye duration. Hardly noticeable. But just after a few more days the duration of screen blacking out increased. There is also a problem with Seller and Amazon customer service. Amazon will tell you to contact the seller and vice-versa. This laptop is only preferable if you dont have anything else to do or are feeling bored. Because the process of exchanging laptops, taking the backup, setting up a new laptop will indulge you and keep you busy at least for a few months.

They do not remove all prior software, and McAfee has constant popups and interference. So far, most other things work ok, but it is INCREDIBLY annoying to have McAfee software remain on this computer and constantly get in the way of what is running. I would not have bought this computer if I knew McAfee was going to be a pre-existing virus that would not be removed.

We purchased 2 , 1 had the ssd drive weirdly partitioned like it was the 90s calling and the total storage did not add upto the storage published. The other ones touch screen stopped working after 3 weeks of usage. These are laptops laying on a desk with the most careful of possible uses. I can only assume they were handled by careless / unqualified technicians,or we won the jackpot with 2 out of 2 defective. I hope for everyone else, it was the later.
