The first one I had ---I have had this exactly one month and the material around the wrist pad has come apart from the base. It has been replaced by the company; they do read their reviews and try to make things right. And they have here --- I could tell right away that this one was a good product because the bottom is shiny and smooth. The first one I had, the bottom was wrinkled, so I believe it was a defect. Im definitely now pleased with my purchase.

It stinks, literally. Functionally it seems to be a decent product (nice wrist support and pad design) but it has this smell that has, so far, made it unusable because it triggers my allergies and results in a headache. The odor reminds me of hay or some similar dried field crop. [My grandparents were farmers and I loved visiting the barn and hay loft as a child. However, I do not live on a farm now and cannot tolerate this smell in my home.] Am hoping it goes away - very soon. November Update -- Customer support contacted me almost immediately after I posted my review. They have sent the newer version as a replacement and I am happy to report the smell is gone and Im pleased w/ the product. My suggestion is: if you have any sensitivity to smells, I would buy the newer and slightly more expensive version ($1 or so).

This was a great value and its well made. It just seems like the gel arm rest is a little small. Maybe I just need to just get used to it. I received an email instructing me not to remove the plastic film from the back of the mouse pad or it would stick to my table surface. I literally needed to though as it was bubbled up and the pad wouldnt lay flat without removing It. It would have been nice to have instructions saying so with the mouse pad. Now Im stuck with a sticky back mouse pad. Update! VicTsing customer service contacted me directly after hearing of my problems with my order and promptly sent me a replacement no questions asked. Great Customer Service. Highly Recommend.

What stood out about this mouse pad from VicTsing was the quality and the wrist support which is made of gel and reminds me of the gel wrist support I use to purchase for use with the keyboard, gel wrist support is very comfortable not too high up like I like it and supports just right, its like the arm of your chair and no wrist fatigue after using this, I was very surprised also has a nice wide pad which I like tremendously as some pads dont give you enough room to move around and you feel as though you are limited to move your mouse around therefore your mouse tends to come off the pad all together and end up on your desk I would recommend this mouse pad and for the price you really can not beat the size of this pad, it also features a non skid backing, a tacky back type of material

I find the VicTsing Mouse Pad to be exactly what I was looking for. When I decided to replace my previous mousepad that I had used for years, I went through a couple of different highly ranked mousepads here on Amazon. Unfortunately, I had to send them back due to them not interacting with my wireless mouse very well… even slowing it down. However, I finally got it right when I ordered the VicTsing mouse pad with gel wrist comfort. Not only did it provide a premium feel and appearance, but it was cost effective and even improved my mouse performance from my original. I’ve had it for about a month and some change now, and couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend this mouse pad if you’re looking for something that fits into a minimalistic desktop setting, with a functional and comfortable approach. Definitely will consider this brand for any future needs.

I hadnt realized how my old mouse pad so negatively impacted the performance of my mouse. Originally, I purchased this new mouse pad because the old mouse pad began to creep based on the movement of my mouse and wrist on padding. The VicTsing mouse pad has improved both the efficiency of my mouse movement, but also, this pad is going nowhere! It is very sticky on the bottom...which is good...but sometimes a bit of a pain - because I cant just slide it anymore...I literally have to kind of peel it up to move. This is fine, actually, but I do wonder how long it will last because of the tackiness. Ill find out over time, but I can say that it is an excellent mouse pad, and Ive been enjoying the improved efficiency and performance of my mouse because of it!

I love it! The apostrophe-shaped design is just right for the way I use my mouse, the wrist rest is very firm with just a little give in it, and the underside is coated in some kind of substance that prevents it from creeping or sliding around. Great value! Update: After using this mouse pad for a few days, I have some updates. The wrist rest at first seemed a little small, but Ive gotten used to it. Also, there is a logo at the top of the pad, and my mouse encounters some stickiness if it goes over it. Finally, the underside of the pad had some kind of cellophane backing over it that was heavily bubbled up. I wasnt sure if I should remove it or not, and the instructions didnt mention anything. I thought maybe it was to prevent the pad from moving around, so I tried using the pad without removing the cellophane and it was ridiculous - the pad was not flat and level! So yeah, removing that cellophane is a must.

Initial reaction - nice shape, comfortable wrist rest. Others have mentioned a strong smell. To be honest, I didnt notice any smell until I put my nose to the mouse pad and sniffed it. After receiving the mouse pad I removed the plastic on the bottom of the pad. It had a multitude of air pockets and caused the mouse pad to skate around. After removing the plastic the bottom of the pad had a very tactile feel and resisted any sliding movement. A day or two later I received an e-mail from Vic Tsing that said "... there is no need for you to tear off the film. Otherwise the bottom of the silica gel will generate the attraction to the desk, which may cause some damage to your desk." I dont know if they mean a chemical reaction will take place that could damage the finish of the desk, or more likely, the mouse pad will resist any movement and if you try to move the mouse pad on the desk without first lifting it off the desk it could damage the desk. In any case, the mouse pad seems to work fine with the Logitech G603 mouse I am using with it. Other mouse pads that I have used show a depression in the gel pad over time, reducing the cushioning effect. So far, I have not experienced this with the Vic Tsing mouse pad. Only time will tell how it stands up to repeated use.

I know I know... youre prob looking at my profile and going how on earth can he say that mouse pad is good, well, the way I hold the mouse and move it, I need wrist support, this type of mouse pad has always worked for me and yes, my friends laugh at me but it just fits me and my style of mouse movement (from the wrist). Ive been using one since around 2005 and never looked back. In fact, the one I was using before buying this one, was that same one I got for free (at a convention) in 2005 lol... but yeah, it needed replacement, was kinda yucky (ew) so this one was the chosen one after reading up on reviews. It did have a strong chemical smell when it arrived but that went away quickly and its been great. Doesnt slip thanks to its underneath and the gel is nice with the perfect feel for me.

I already had a mouse pad with a gel wrist rest of another brand. The top cover on my old mouse pad had a bizzare ability to attract dust and dog hair like I had never seen before. Every 3 days I had to clean it using sticky tape to remove all this. This material does not share this tendency, it stays nice and clean. The VicTsing mouse pad does not have as large a wrist rest, but my wrist doesnt travel much these days. I use a mouse/pointing device with a track ball so the mouse stays in one place. So does the mouse pad on my desk - another difference that I like.
