Its only better side than the "ex" (that I touched intensely everyday) is it has a full rubber bottom that traps dust on hit while making it impossible to move on the desk without lifting But the pad is pretty tough and stays the shape it is turned by a couple of weeks of my wrists pressing. Also it starts to sour after absorbing my sweat at a rate 3 times faster I think so dont stress and sweat when holding your mouse on it when gaming And in the end after merely 3 months the surface layer came off and I got to see whats inside - disintegrated gel that made the awkawrd shape. So I guess I shouldnt have blamed the outer layer getting sour earlier

This mousepad smelled horrid. As soon as I opened the ultra cheap plastic wrap, the smell "burned" my nostrils and stayed with me for awhile. The bottom rubber also looked funny. I set it aside for a few days and then tried to use it. The smell made me light headed... I think it may have been toxic. I threw it away.
