Ordered this and a Logitech mouse Logitech M535 Compact Bluetooth Wireless Optical Mouse for Mac, Windows, Chrome OS and Android Devices - Blue . This one fits my hand almost as well as my favorite Microsoft Wireless laser mouse 6000, but it doesnt work at all without the nano receiver. Four bits to seal into that little box: two pieces of paper, the mouse and the receiver. Seems so simple. Guess you gets what you pays for. 7/28/18. Was checking the reviews once more, and someone mentioned the fact that the nano receiver was stored in the bottom of the mouse. RTFM. Feel foolish that I failed to follow that basic tech rule. In my defense, I didnt have my new glasses and did not want to try to read the teensy multilingual print in the instructions that WERE included. DUMB. I found the receiver, put the batteries back in, and I was in business! Not only does it fit my hand better, it does not take fingertip pressure to activate the buttons, which the Logitech Bluetooth mouse requires. Very smooth, and the light weight will be easy to lug around. A good replacement for the sexy Surface Arc mouse that I just couldnt use with my Surface Pro (and the color matches too!). So PLUS two stars. BUT: That nanoreceiver takes up the ONLY USB port the Surface offers. So if Im transferring files using a thumb drive, its back to fingers and tablet mode, which isnt easy or efficient...for me anyway. I liked having that port open.

i do like the idea of having a back and forward button however they need to find a different place for them cause if you just pick up the mouse you hit the button.. and i as far as comfort i feel that my middle finger hangs over the mouse i would prefer the right side of the mouse be longer then the left side of the mouse , because the middle finger is longer .. i have used this mouse for about a month now i originally gave this product a 3 star but after using it for a month i really dont like it reason is the forward and back buttons on the side just above the thumb .. you hit the forward and back buttons all the time accidentally. so now its a 1 star product.

It simply didnt work. I inserted five sets of batteries--all of which worked in other devices--but it never lit up and it never responded. I confirmed my wireless network, updated my driver, deleted/reinstalled my USB Controller, offered up my second-born child--nothing succeeded in establishing a connection between this wireless mouse and my PC. Too bad. I really liked that kid.

This is a great wireless mouse. The size of this mouse is great for travel or for people with smaller hands. It has an ergonomic shape that does not hurt your hand after usage. It has back and forward buttons which is very useful on Chrome and other web browsers. The DPI switch is great to get the mouse as sensitive as you like it. The mouse also glides well on most surfaces. The sensor is also great and Ive had no trouble with it not picking up my movement. Also, the scroll wheel is the same as every other mouse. The mouse connected almost instantly to my laptop. The AAA batteries are light so they dont make the mouse feel heavy like an AA battery might. Overall, this is a great wireless mouse.

This mouse worked great for me until this week, when it started flashing the battery light a lot and wouldnt work. So I changed the batteries and the next day it did the same thing. I just tested the batteries with my voltmeter and they are fine, so the mouse finally gave up the ghost. 3 stars since the mouse worked great for the past ~21 months, however I expect a computer mouse to last much longer than this. By the way, the batteries didnt last 24 months for me as advertised, I replaced them a few months back so ~18 months, which is still great but not what was promised. UPDATE: After tossing this mouse out I have since discovered that the USB port I was using the mouse on with my laptop is flaky and unreliable. I did plug that mouse into other USB ports before concluding that it was bad, however after going through a similar problem with other mice I realize that I might not have given Windows enough time to recognize the device and download drivers for it before I got frustrated and pulled it out (it seemed like it took much longer than usual, but everything on my PC was taking much longer than usual that week). So I feel obligated to update this review and state that the mouse might have still been good. So Im upgrading from three stars to four.

I bought this 5 months ago specifically as a small portable mouse for travel. It has been well-kept and used an average of around 10 hours per week with both Windows and Linux laptops. During that time it worked fine, didnt cause any problems with other wireless devices, was comfortable & lightweight, and did not burn through batteries. Unfortunately the mouse just stopped working suddenly. All the usual troubleshooting points to the mouse simply reached the end of its life. I cant justify writing a good rating or review when a product reaches an abrupt and extremely early premature death, regardless of how it worked prior. I have other wireless mice, all just as inexpensive, and all still going strong after years. This one shouldve been no different but unfortunately thats not the case. Since the mouse is within the warranty period, Ive contacted customer service and will edit/update this review accordingly after Im done with that process. UPDATE June 5: After contacting customer service, a replacement was promptly sent out at no charge and has since been received & working fine. The process was painless and hassle-free. As a customer, I got exactly the response and resolve I was hoping for and have adjusted my rating to reflect that.

Install Flash Player In general Ive been very satisfied with the Tecknet mice. I like the way they perfectly fit my hand and the two units Ive purchased previously have performed well, but my latest experience is disappointing. The mouse I just received yesterday was a replacement for one that had served me well for nearly 2 years. This one, the new Tecknet Pro 2.4g wireless mouse, was Dead on Arrival. Inserted USB nano receiver in my laptop, which was recognized and installed by my system. Then installed freshly charged AAA batteries. With previous Tecknet mice, when batteries are installed the DPI setting LED flashes by the DPI selector button located below the top wheel. In this case, no light flashed and the receiver did not pick-up any signal from the mouse. I removed the batteries and checked them with a multimeter, verifying full charge, reinserted them, turned on the mouse again, clicked the left and right buttons, and the DPI selector button, but again no lights flashed and no signal received by the Nano receiver . SEE VIDEO. Normally Id suspect the receiver, but the absence of the flashing light to indicate DPI setting is convincing evidence the mouse itself is defective, not the receiver. Grabbed my wifes 2 year old Tecknet muse, plugged in her Nano receiver and everything is OK... except her not wanting me to keep her mouse. LOL Will give Tecknet 1 last try, but my confidence is shaken.

here is an excerpt from the main desription; "Compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1,10, Mac and Linux." notice it says it is compatible with Mac - but the directions that came with it say this: "Operating System - Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, Win7, Win8, Win8.1, Win10. Note: The scroll wheel only works under the operating systems listed above. If you use the mouse under a different operating system, the mouse may either not work or loose its enhanced features." i have a Mac and it works - for about 10 seconds and then stops working... if i turn off the on/off switch on the bottom and then turn it back on it will work again - for about 10 seconds... i tried it plugged into my surveillance NVR (not Mac) - did the same thing...

I bought this mouse for my work laptop, and I bought it based on some of the other photos and the description of it being ergonomic. It is a great little travel mouse, but thats kind of the problem. It is little compared to what I was expecting for an ergo mouse. The attached picture is this mouse compared to my Logitech G602. For the occasional use travel mouse it fits the bill. For a daily use mouse, Id look elsewhere. Pros: *It has various DPI settings *It tracks well and has good signal strength without any lag *The USB dongle stores in the mouse and is held in place by a magnet Cons: *It is definitely a cheap, flimsy mouse. But it is priced accordingly. *The picture makes it look like it is a matte finish, but it is definitely glossy. *The battery compartment isnt very secure and one of the batteries only stays in place with the door installed. *It is smaller than I would expect for an ergo mouse. *There is no indication of where the DPI is set. You just have to keep toggling through and testing to see where you are.

Not sure if it is my specific PC settings, but batteries last only a few days. You wouldnt believe the frustration not being able to wake the computer up the day after brand new batteries are place in the mouse. You would have to babysit you on/off button to drag out the length of use with each battery change. If I wasnt using rechargeable batteries, then the cost of consumable batteries would have tripled the cost of this mouse in the first month of use. Ultimately, I switched to using a wired mouse, and threw this in the garbage!
