As other reviewers have pointed out, this new keyboard and mouse version of the K360 keyboard will NOT work with the Unifying receiver dongle that comes with many other Logitech input devices. If you plan to use the keyboard with the too small, very basic mouse that comes with this combo, you may be ok, but if you expect to use an existing unifying mouse with the keyboard, your only option will be to use both the new keyboards dongle AND your existing unifying dongle as well. Amazon still offers the older K360 keyboard for a few dollars less than this combo. Look for the one with a glossy rather than matt keyboard face, and look for specific mention of the unifying receiver in the description. The fact that both have the same model designation (K360) is unfortunate and confusing.

It works well as a keyboard mouse combo, but it is very annoying for one specific reason. UNIFYING... I purchased a K360 last year that works great and has the orange Unifying logo on it. This "version" has no orange logo and does not pair with Unifying receivers. That is a bit of an annoyance as the images for the device show a Unifying receiver and they use the term Unifying in the description. BEWARE. Ive included an image of the 2 K360s side by side.

The one I received was NOT a unifying keyboard nor mouse. This becomes important if you lose the receiver/dongle and try to buy a replacement. Even Logitech was unable to find one for me, That being said, the mouse and keyboard worked fine up until I lost the receiver. I "hear" there is a "unifying" version of this combo. The last paragraph of the product description states, "The K360 keyboard is completely wireless. It uses a high-speed 2.4GHz connection to connect to its paired Logitech Unifying USB dongle. All of your keystrokes are protected using 128-bit AES encryption, so you’ll never have to worry about your typed data being compromised." If so, insist on it. Look for a little orange unifying symbol. It looks kind of like an orange asterisk. Good Luck!

Good quality keyboard, I like that it’s a little heavier than a lot of wireless keyboards you see, which I prefer when trying to use on my lap or bed so it doesn’t move around as much. It has more of a “fixed keyboard” feel to it, if that makes sense? I didn’t realize it camewith the little USB receiver; I thought it was a straight Bluetooth keyboard when I bought it. That said, it has super easy setup, literally plug and play (with Windows 10 anyway). I think it took 15-20 seconds and it was ready! The negative column is the fact that the key aren’t lit, which really does make a difference-for my purposes anyway. The only other thing is that it seems a kind of odd size to me. It’s too big to be a compact keyboard and too small to be a full size keyboard, although it’s closer to the latter. It may be better for people with smaller hands or skinnier fingers, or no arthritis or carpel tunnel, lol. No real complaints on functionality, I should have shopped around and really thought about what I wanted, but that’s not the keyboard’s fault. I give four stars because it was a good price and good quality wireless keyboard, minus two stars for the odd size/weird and slightly uncomfortable ergonomics, as well as the lack of back lighting. ***Oh, a note in the plus column is that it actually came with batteries! (However my last keyboard was rechargeable, which was great to not have to worry about batteries at all).

This is a great keyboard and an ok mouse.... I spent 20 minutes chatting with Logitech support about why it didnt come with a Unifying Receiver. Apparently Logitech have changed the product, but didnt tell anybody. The customer service rep I talked to had no idea either. We couldnt figure out why it wasnt Unifying compatible. In other reviews, people have guessed that there might be a batch of counterfeit keyboards. I went to a local brick-and-mortar store and found that none of theirs were Unifying compatible either. The simplest explanation is that Logitech changed the bundle, but didnt update the website. I ended up picking up the K360 keyboard (which is Unifying compatible). It is exactly the same keyboard but with a glossy top (I liked the matte version from this one better) more Fkey functions (the keyboard with the MK360 only has a few) and a Unifying receiver. I love Logitech and have used their products for year, but this is just disappointing. It seems dumb to get so worked up over a receiver but my wife borrowed my favorite mouse (a Logitech M510) and I was going to trade her the mouse that came with this bundle for that mouse.

Its smaller than my other board and mouse which is great for small hands and its light weight and it seems to work fast and accurately and soundlessly (This is my 1st try at posting with it). Note the delete key is in a different places. The really BAD part is that were were NO INSTRUCTIONS! Also it came in just a plain cardboard box. Above it shows it comes in a greenish box...with pictures on the front of what is included...Mine came in a plain box with 0 instructions. Im almost a total nerd (not in a good way) about computers. I thought it was missing the receiver (which for those of you who dont know it...like I didnt....the receiver (also called a dongle) is stored and hidden in the mouse and you must take that out of the mouse and plug it into a USB port on your computer or keyboard. Just take the mouse cover off and there you will find the receiver/dongle. Luckily for me my husband knows a lot about computers and was able to hook this key board and mouse up and it ran immediately. The really big problem for me was that there were no instructions and I thought the receiver was missing and I was going to send it back to Amazon, but when my husband got home he showed me where the receiver (which is also the dongle, for those of you that dont know this). Also be aware, to hook up this keyboard and mouse, you must turn off your computer completely. Look on line for good instructions. Its pretty simple, just plug and play for the most part, but if you are a newbie like I am to the actual working of the hardware....you need to read good instructions first, before you buy this unit. As for the unit, it works well, pressing the keys are easy & quite, with quick key response. As for the seller ...A for quick delivery, but ...F for 0 instructions. My recommendations, If you know computers and how to hook up the hardware, its a good buy (and Im quite happy with the keyboard and mouse...NOW that is hooked up and running)...but if you are a newbie or a senior with limited knowledge...make sure you find easy instructions online or buy from someone who will provide you good easy to follow instructions.
