The wheel should have been positioned more toward the nose of the mouse. My middle finger falls naturally toward the front. I have to bend it to access the wheel; hardly the "natural handshake position" advertised. Perhaps people with short fingers will find the placement convenient. I dont.

I am an adult female with extremely small hands. I am on the hunt for a new mouse that is both ergonomic and compact enough for me to hold - a difficult task indeed. This is a really nice mouse and 100% worth the $$ if it fits your hand. Unfortunately, it is just too big for me. The side of my palm cannot rest on the desk surface/wrist rest and still reach the buttons. I liked this enough to try to grip it a bit differently (higher) so that I could reach all the buttons but after a week, realized that was going to cause long-term pain. So, back this goes but for that reason alone. It is very nice, has a great non-slip texture, and very comfortable to hold. So sad there isnt a smaller version of this but as with most such things, its a "one size fits all" that excludes those of us outside the 95% percentile.

I tried the Evoluent and the Anker before settling on this one. The Evoluent is way too heavy and makes your wrist too vertical. The Anker one feel really nice at first but you end up putting pressure on the side of your hand which is bad for people like me who suffer from ulnar nerve issues. I wasnt sure about the shape of this at first, but the more I used it, I realized the genius of the design. You end up supporting your hand with the palm, and the angle is perfect for ergonomic comfort. The sensor is super accurate which means you get things done quicker, and the software is awesome for creating macros to help speed up your workflow. I love the rubber grip; it keeps your palms from getting sweaty and feels nice on your hand. My only minor complaint would be that the side buttons could be a better shape and easier to press. Also I wish the software allowed for modifier keys to be used with click-drag movements on a single key. Cant complain because its not like there is better software out there really.

You have been warned. This mouse requires BT 4.0 to work. Otherwise you are stuck with the dongle or USB. I didnt find this information when purchasing it. My 2017 Mac Pro only has BT 3.0 so I will need to buy a BT dongle. Pretty stupid in my opinion.

I have some ulnar nerve / Raynauds hand and arm issues so have to be careful about ergonomics for blood flow. I literally cannot work with a normal mouse as a result and have to use a vertical mouse and spend over 8 hours per day during the week using the computer / a mouse. This is the best yet. Evoluents vertical mouse was better than everything out there but this Logitech vertical mouse requires noticeably less strain to move the mouse and the hand is just considerably more comfortable at rest. Sure there are some things I miss about the Evoluent (3 large mouse buttons including left click, middle click, and right click; wheel button was easier to click; buttons for Back/Forward were better positioned) but those are a much smaller percentage of use than improving the resting hand position and ease of movement (which are about 98% of your use time). Buy it.

I was a bit nervous after reading reviews... would this fit my hand, would I like it, would it even pair with my computers? So... it fits my hand great (59" , right handed, male).. huge difference from regular mice and I have tried a lot. it feels more comfortable, and more precise at the same time. I love it, and use it at work (lots of writing and editing, some photoshop) and will be buying another for home. Extremely intuitive. It pairs seamlessly by blue tooth (good bye dongles!) with my 2018 MacBook Pro, and 2017 iMac Pro. Someone commented it does not pair with older Macs that have older blue tooth protocols. I did not test that, but Macs made for the last 4 years at least have the required blue tooth standard (3.0). you might want to check yours. The one thing I will say about pairing... is that it can bind up to three different computers.. it has a button to switch between, and it will not overwrite (easily) one computer pair for another.. ie. I paired first to my iMac on machine one, then tried to pair to my laptop without changing machine setting.. and it did not do it. I hit the button to say machine two, and it paired fine. thats a plus in my books. I now use it between both computers easily. One day if I have to overwrite those machine choices I suppose I will need to dig into a manual to figure out how. I dont know if it would make a good gaming mouse... I am not much of a gamer and those I do play, right or left click with scroll are really all I need and it does that great. It has a few extra buttons that I havent played with, but certainly no where near as many options as some of my other mice.. options I never use and typically get in my way. BUT if you want a gaming mouse, this probably needs more research. What its great for, as I said, is productivity apps and general mousing around. I dont see myself going back. My only regret is that its so BIG. I travel a lot for work, and dont see myself packing this thing (though it is light). For that I will have to go back to my Magic Mouse. Cant have everything I suppose.

I received mine yesterday, Id say 5/5 because it fit what I was looking for. The mouses build quality is on par with the MX Master, and the angle feels nice to use. I do miss hyper-fast scrolling and the side scroll from the MX Master. The middle click alone makes this way better than evoluents options. The clicks feel and sound the same as the MX Master.

I feel like this mouse missed the mark. Its sexy to look at. Has good software associated with it. The button placement is pretty good. But its shape that is supposed to be the best feature, is actually what is problematic. I use vertical mice because of my carporal tunnel. Using a normal mouse even for a few minutes stresses by wrist out. This mouse merely shifted this discomfort from the middle of my wrist to the bottom of it. The handshake position that this mouse sells somehow isnt quite right. The mouse doesnt offer a place for the underside of your hand to rest causing you "hold" the position without support causing discomfort. It could be just me but when I went back to my evoluent mouse, my stress almost immediately vanished. It had to return it.

As a designer working in photoshop and the adobe suite frequently I have always needed a good mouse. During particularly long sessions I have developed wrist pain from traditional mice. My favorite mouse is the Logitech MX Master. So when I saw Logitech was making a premium vertical mouse I jumped at the opportunity to try it out! First off, it looks great and does feel great in the hand. It did not take me long to adjust to the new position. It felt natural very quickly. It is very light which at first bothered me but now I like it compared to the much heavier MX Master. But it was after some more use I noticed some problems and things that are less than ideal. 1. The mouse causes strain on your wrist where the bone touches your desk: The mouse grip is raised quite high up, so to fully grasp it you need to hold your hand suspended. My hand/wrist naturally wanted to rest so I ended up defaulting to gripping it lightly with my fingers with my wrist against the desk. Over time this got painful. Im not sure why the grip is so high up. I have bought a wrist pad rest to see how that improves things. But it does seem like a design oversight. It is not comfortable to use for long periods without something to prop up your wrist. 2. The scroll wheel feels like a step down from previous mice that had the free scroll option: The MX master has this great variable scroll wheel that can switch between notched and smooth scrolling. I didnt realize how much I used / enjoyed this feature till it was gone. Considering the price premium charged for this mouse its a shame they did not include it. 3. No horizontal scroll wheel This one is a nitpick but I also miss having a second scroll wheel to scroll horizontally. I have to do this frequently in large documents and images and I miss having that control. Again its a premium mouse feature but this is a premium mouse... 4.No Dark-field laser tracking I was also disappointed that I cannot use this mouse on glass like the MX Master. I have a glass desk and so I had to buy a mouse pad in order to use this mouse on it. Again, not a huge deal but it feels like a step backwards in quality and ease of use. Which shouldnt happen at the upper tiers of their product offerings. Overall I still think this is a good product. When I go back to my MX Master it now feels wrong and clunky which tells me my hand prefers the new one. But It lacks some premium features that feel like they should have been included and the fact that it is not comfortable out of the box is worrying. Your milage may vary but I think Logitech had the opportunity to blow us away with a new mouse paradigm but it is not the pinnacle I had hoped for.

I ordered this mouse since I have been working 60 hour weeks as a software engineer and my wrists (and mostly my right mouse hand) have been killing me and I thought this may help. Well, I took it out and the first time I tried to scroll down a page, I realized there was no obvious way to disable that annoying notchy clicky scroll function. (i.e. no free scroll) After some research, I found that this was by Logitechs design. I have had dozens of Logitech mice, and EVERYONE of them had the free scroll option, but not this $100 piece of junk. After a couple of hours I Really began to hate it. It was awkward, felt plasticy and cheap, was not very precise, large clunky and worst of all, it made my whole wrists and arm sore. I am returning it and that will be the last Logitech mouse I try until they bring back the quality that I had learned to expect from them...
