Make sure this fitsby entering your model number. Solar-powered keyboard: No battery hassles. Any light source keeps the keyboard charged for at least three months, even in total darkness High-performance laser mouse: Get accurate cursor control, hyper-fast scrolling and up to three years of battery life Unifying wireless receiver: One tiny USB receiver wirelessly connects both the keyboard and mouse to your computer Comfortable combo: Concave key caps, whisper quiet keys and sculpted mouse for feel-good typing and mouse control PC compatible: Works with Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP
So pros are that its a keyboard you never have to recharge, keys are relatively quiet, and you only have to use one USB port for both the mouse and keyboard. Cons are that the keys do get glossy with heavy use (but thats no different from any other keyboard nowadays) and that the keyboard is very low profile so its great for casual use but with heavy typing you do have to really focus on keeping your wrists straight. The mouse is great, has more buttons than I know what to do with haha but thats a bonus because as I learn to use them I can work faster. Only drawback so far as I can tell is the scroller slash third key is really easy to actuate which can be a problem if you use blender or other software that requires you to use that key often. Overall extremely satisfied with the product.

This is the third Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard I have owned. [Unfortunately, the first one died on me when I spilled a large can of soda on the keyboard and I was never able to get it to work reliably afterwards.] However, I missed the low profile keyboard and the ability for me to pound out more this style of keyboard than any of the others I own or have owned. In fact, I purchased this latest one to allow me to move my older solar keyboard to my other computer. Being able to rely on solar power is a real plus, and to be quite frank, the benefits of the low profile and my typing speed on this keyboard plus the solar power makes this a winning combination in my book. I have purchased and owned many other keyboards but have to admit this overall, these keyboards are by far the best investment I have made (and this is written by someone who spends many, many hours each week at the keyboard).

Have only had this a couple weeks so can not speak on longevity, but I love it so far. The keyboard freed up space on my desk. the mouse is very user friendly/ it has a metered scroll and also a free scroll that is great for reaching the bottom of pages fast. The keyboard already had enough charge to start using it right out of the box. To give it it/s first good charge I put my desk lamp over the solar bar and its been going non stop. I admit I forget to turn it off most times but it still keeps going. Very easy to set up. Keyboard is comfortable to work on and has a great "feel" to the keys. The solar capability is very accommodating to even limited light accessibility. I have my keyboard on a slide out desk top that hides it when Im not using it and I had reservations that it might not get enough office light even when Im using it unless I pulled out the tray all the way. It is sensitive enough that it captures enough light without my having to be ultra conscious about it. The downloadable Solar App is a great idea and gives you a quick monitor of your light conditions if you have any question. The mouse is a nice ergonomic design and has a quick response of use.

This is my third purchase of this product. One for home, one for work, and one to replace the lost keyboard from my luggage traveling last year. The keyboard is solar powered which eliminates the need for large batteries resulting in a thin and sleek design. The solar keyboard recharges itself in almost any environment. I have a lower lit room and yet I have never had to worry about the charge in the keyboard. I am also a specialist in office ergonomics. This keyboard, when used properly will lie flat and allow you to type with almost no bending of the wrists. The mouse, though it uses batteries, is very energy efficient. This is one of the best keyboards I have ever used.

I bought this keyboard/mouse combo to use at work about a year ago, and I use it every weekday for 8+ hours a day. No problems with it at all, and I still love it. I split my time between a Windows PC and a Macbook, but with most of my time spent using the Macbook. I have had no problems with either the keyboard or mouse. I love the quiet keys, and the feeling of the keyboard closely resembles the Macbook. Im considering buying a second one for the house. I would not hesitate to recommend this keyboard to anyone that enjoys using the Macbook keyboard.

This is my third purchase of this input combination of devices. I have purchased it at every job site I have worked for the past 10 years. Even purchased one for home use. Now the family and I fight over whos system gets to use it. I went out and purchased my entire family their very own for Christmas. Cannot wait to wrap them up and see their faces. Saves the environment on battery use, always reliable. Vey thin low profile. Mouse tracks very nicely, is very smooth and the wheel has two modes by a simple click of a button. Highly recommend you download the associated software to display CAPS lock, Shift key, and Scroll Lock. Even has an app that pops up when you press the battery status button. The only CON to this device is that the keyboard is not backlit under the keys for ease of use in dark rooms while presenting. If they could only manufacturer a solar mouse to compliment the keyboard and give it a backlit keyboard this would be the perfect setup.

This is a great product, while I havent used one for long myself (I am a programmer/gamer, and use a Corsair K95 RGB w/Browns), I purchased this for my father after purchasing one for my mother last year. These are extremely good keyboards, and Logitech stands behind their products. I have had to call them a few times on things, not on this, and they are always prompt and have never charged me for a repair. I will continue to give them my business because of this. Enough about that, back to the keyboard. They are extremely thin, which I love in a keyboard for a nice minimalist desk space. They never have to have the batteries replaced, and they always work when you need them to. Great product for the average office or home user.

This is the second of this model Ive owned, having lost the first one due to someone else spilling a full glass of water on it. I love this keyboard and the mouse, so I ordered a new one the instant I discovered the problems with the first one. I do a lot of writing, so I need a keyboard that is comfortable, portable, and that is quiet enough during operation. This one is sturdy, so I feel it can handle accidental roughness now and then, as long as I keep liquids from spilling on it. There are cheaper ones out there, but there are definitely differences between those and this one, and because I do write so much, those make all the difference in the world. It is possible for the battery to eventually reach its end date, although that might be long after the purchase. It is a disk, or button-type of battery, which I believe you would have to order. The little door to the battery is not easy to open; youd probably have to use a tool to pry it free. Its on the underside of the top edge, just above where the F7 and F8 keys are located. While the battery is still working well, this keyboard works without a problem, taking in any light for charging or for operating without much battery drain. I like the portability of this keyboard, leaving me free from dealing with wires. The mouse and keyboard work instantly, with only the computers quick adjustment for the proper driver, without my having to do anything other than begin typing. User friendly equipment is always appreciated. I also like the solidity of the keyboard, with just enough weight so that you feel you are handling a quality product.

The keyboard is truly a best buy. What you already know it that you never have to put batteries in it, which by the way works. I dont know how, but just with ordinary indoor light, this baby stays charged. What I didnt know is how high quality the build would be. This thing is RIGID. It has no bounce or hop when you type, even with the keyboard raised up on the perfectly sized folding podiums - which is particular remarkable given how THIN this keyboard it. It doesnt feel like a cheap plastic keyboard. It feels like theres a firm sheet of metal inside. It looks great sitting on my desk. I love that theres a charge indicator light that comes on - only when I ask for the charge state by pressing a button. The travel on the keys is nice. The keys have a great feel. In short, this product exceeded my expectations. I didnt know what I was missing.

I would have given this wireless Keyboard Mouse five stars if it was not for the intermittent LAG I have been experiencing. Sometimes, but not all the time, the keyboard acts like it is late to dinner at waking up. Then all of a sudden it works but misses the first keys sent. Or worse, a key gets pressed and it wakes up in the middle of that, and stays pressed until hit again. I moved the USB dongle all over the place. From the front of my PC, to a USB hub, to the back of my PC. The issue continues. I thought maybe it was my phone or other RF interference but I am pretty sure I eliminated all that with no results. So perhaps I have either a bad keyboard or dongle. The solar app shows the keyboard is fully charged so that cannot be the issue. Strangely, the mouse seems unaffected. I have several unifying dongles I bought as a back up in case one gets lost, so I will try to pair with one of those to see if this fixes it. As for the product itself, when it is working, the action of the keyboard is (for lack of a better word)... beautiful. I do not think I have ever typed on a nicer keyboard. It reminds me of the keyboard on my laptops, but nicer. The mouse feels a little flimsy but has not failed to perform at all. The rigid/smooth mouse wheel button feels a bit clunky, but honestly, how often is anyone going to change that preference? I guess if you are a graphic artist you would. It is also much lighter than I like. My M510 is much heaver and I like that in a mouse. In my opinion, the intermittent keyboard thing has to be either a software bug, driver issue, or maybe just a dongle issue. It is hard to low rate this combo because of it, considering how heavy the keyboard is (NICE!), how solid it feels, how great the action is, and the layout. And even the solar app works great! Over the top maybe, telling me what the LUX is when all the time since I had it, the battery has been 100% charged. Unless you are a vampire that needs to compute in complete blackness, one would never even have to look at this app. Still, it opened my eyes to this application and how it can be applied to other embedded projects I am building. This is why I am resisting the urge to take this baby apart and see how they did it. :) I will post an update if I figure out what the issue is with the keyboard lag. One late note worth mentioning. Just unplugging the dongle and plugging it back in fixed it for me, at least for now. If it comes back, I will rinse and repeat. If it continues to make it work for awhile, then at least I know where to go to continue troubleshooting.
