The first keyboard I received had a damaged arrow down key. The key itself would not sit flush with the other keys. It looks like it was a defect from the factory. The tabs that hold the key in place were bent and the key was half attached. In addition to this defect the solar power windows were cloudy and looked as thought they were wiped with a dirty wet rag. The smears were on the inside and could not be cleaned off. I ordered a replacement. I received the replacement keyboard quickly from Amazon. When inspecting the replacement keyboard I found the solar panels to have debris stuck under the glass as well as the same dirty smear marks on the interior of the glass.There is also a visible finger print on the inside of the glass as well. The keyboard appears to function properly, but I hope the dirty solar panels do not effect its ability to charge. The mouse that came with it had a defective lock for the scroll wheel. Once you pressed it in it would not pop back out unless you tapped the mouse on a hard surface. I ended up keeping the mouse from the first keyboard and sending the second one back. Im going to try to return this again in the hopes of getting one that is correct. I bought this same combo from Costco and have been using it for two years with no problems. The solar panels on my old keyboard were crystal clear and debris free right out of the box. It looks like their quality control has degraded since my last keyboard purchase. Received replacement and it was damaged in shipping. Also the solar panels are so dirty on this one that I didnt even bother removing the protective plastic.I will attempt to return this one last time.
