Have owned for 3 years; just bought 2nd unit for spouse. Size is about 3 1/2 by 2 1/4 by 1 1/4 inches; good for larger hands. good battery life (2 AA). weighty. works on most surfaces (I use it on fuzzy arm of my chair.) No noticeable wake-up lag when using with Windows. Works with W8,W10 and Android tablets. No extraneous buttons on the sides; they are clean. Thumbwheel has a light, satisfactory detent feel. Reliable bluetooth connection & easy to connect. After 3 years, I have had to trim the ends of the back, bottom plastic glide, as they were curling a bit. Wish they offered more colors. Ive dropped it on the carpet many times, and the top cover always pops off. I might ask for a little stronger "hold" in that respect. Overall the best Ive found, out of many, in a moderate price range for bluetooth mice. The top priority for me has been the lack of sleep - wake delay.

Overall, the mouse performs well. It connects quickly and easily and it does not stutter or lag. However, it does loose connectivity randomly and I sometimes find that I have to restart the computer for it to reestablish a connection. I have it running on a macbook pro and use it on OSX and Windows 7 bootcamp. I have seen the connection randomly lost on both sides. It also does not have a lot of resistance with the buttons and I find that I click just while resting my finger on the button. Those are some minor complaints for an otherwise well made, well performing, and well sized mouse. UPDATE 8/21/15 Ok, so I use this mouse primarily on my Macbook on OSX. The mouse looses connection often. It usually happened when I got up from the computer and came back after at least 15 mins. Now it will loose connection while I am using it. I am using it within 1.5 feet of my computer at all times and it is usually only inches away. It has become so much of an issue that I cannot recommend it to anyone. Also, when I turn the mouse over to switch it off, the bottom battery cover often unclips and the batteries fall out along with the cover. I really like Logitech and have owned mice, keyboards, and speakers. This one is not that great though.

Im using it for my Macbook Pro. You can install the Logitech app for OSX and assign keys to do whatever you want it to do. The mid jog wheel can be assigned for many functions - click left or right for page forward or backward, Windows key can be a smart zoom function, and the best of it all its bluetooth so goodbye to the dongles that takes up your limited USB3.1 slots. Bad things are when youre resting your middle finger on the right click, the pressure on the mouse click is so sensitive that you might accidently do right clicks when you dont want to. You have to get used to this and somewhat hover your fingers, which isnt really ideal. Also it takes a couple of seconds for the mouse to be recognized by the computer when turning on, so if youre in a hurry and waiting on a few seconds for pairing to be done isnt what you like, then you might as well stick with wired or dongle mouse.

Overall, I do like this mouse. I use a Macbook at work and didnt want a USB receiver since my Magic Keyboard doesnt use one. This is a good alternative to Apples Magic Mouse. As many others have stated, however, this mouse does click quite loudly. I own two other Logitech mice (M510 and M325) and this one is by far the noisiest one. It also feels quite cheap. Im not that pressed about it but for the cost I expected something a little more well-made. Its quite light, and the battery cover is actually the entire bottom base of the mouse, and the click tab to close/open the cover is very weak/loose. As for the function, it works great on my Macbook, no issues with Bluetooth, and I like how you can customize the buttons/wheel (though additional software download is required). All in all, it works great, but the build quality is on the lower end of the scale.

Logitech makes some pretty great Bluetooth products and this is definitely one of them. Its compact and very portable (easily fits in virtually any laptop bag). It feels good (in either hand) and has a solid feel to the clickable buttons. The top roller is great for scrolling through windows. Pairing it to a laptop is pretty much effortless. Best of all, because it uses 2 "AA" batteries, were using rechargeable Eneloop batteries, which means battery life is not an issue at all. The battery compartment access is a bit clumsy at first, but once you learn the trick, its not that hard to change the two batteries at all. But you do have to pay attention because the batteries are inserted in the same direction (which is unusual). This battery access aspect is the only reason we took anything away from a 5-star rating (our rating would be "4.9 stars" but Amazons rating system doesnt allow such fine-grained ratings). Overall, its a great mouse and well be buying more of them for sure.

I bought this mouse just four months ago. I work in the high tech industry and take care of my gadgets, and took normal care of the mouse - no drops, no harsh use, etc. It worked well for four months and now the left button doesnt work, and the mouse cant move the pointer. Only the right button works. I changed batteries, reset the mouse, restarted the computer, etc. but that didnt help. Logitechs website doesnt help, and they make it difficult to do an RMA, or even chat with someone in support (Ive been on "chat hold" for a long time). Beware! With all the time I have wasted on this today, Im just going to buy another mouse, and it will not be a Logitech!

Very nice mouse -- installs on Win7Pro by simply turning it on near the computer, and has (so far) a very strong connection (no dropped Bluetooth signals, at least yet). For me it is a bit small, but portability makes up for that. There is a neat Windows Start button, which (in Win7) launches the Start menu (it works differently in Win8). To move back and forward between a page, one tilts the scroll to the left or right, an intuitive gesture. I prefer buttons on the left side of the mouse (as is the case with other Logitech mouses, and also other mouse brands), but the scroll wheel operates well and this is a preference and not a deal breaker. The major issue is that there are no dropped signals. One other comment: This mouse comes in a clamshell, but somehow -- miraculously -- Logitech managed to avoid the typical problem with clamshells (impossible to open) by perforating the back of the clamshell. Why other manufacturers cant imitate this is beyond me.

I own several Logitech wireless mice, all the others use the unifying receiver and work great. I needed a Bluetooth mouse to work with a laptop with very limited USB ports. I didnt get a good result with the mouse, not sure if it was just the one I had or a problem with the models in general, but it jumped when making very small movements. Once it was going it worked well but that initial movement was terrible for doing precision work, exactly the work I do. I ended up going with a Microsoft Sculpt Bluetooth mouse which works great with the same laptop.

Very disappointed by this mouse for use with Mac OSX 12+. I bought it during the summer and hadnt really used it to find out its flaws just now. 1) By default it will not "hover-select" anything. Meaning when navigating through menus it wont highlight anything moused over like the Mac trackpad does by default. I have not found a way to change this via any setting in the bluetooth mouse config on my Mac. 2) The logitech MacOSX software crashes upon opening. It appears that its supposed to be for OSX 12+ and Im not sure what the problem is, but to try to work around #1 I tried their software. It doesnt work. 3) The right-click on the mouse is suddenly non-functional physically. As I stated Ive barely used this mouse. Yet using it now, the right click doesnt click at all--Hardware problem. Its unfortunate to find out all of this months after purchase as I cannot return it. Should have gone for a more expensive option.

You get what you pay for. Its a very average mouse, reasonably comfortable in either left or right hand, but certainly could be better ergonomically. The basic mouse functions (scrolling, right and left clicking, moving cursor) worked immediately, although the tracking quality on my desks surface is subpar. Its easy to plug n play, but my main gripe is with the software. Im using a Mac, and I specifically purchased this mouse because I read that you could program the side scrolling middle wheel to switch between desktops/apps/windows. I downloaded the Logitech software, Logitech Control Center, but it kept saying "No Logitech device found" even as I was using the mouse. So now Im searching for third party alternatives because Logitechs mouse drivers are useless.
