There are pros and cons about this product, with it tilting toward the negative with my 3-star rating (I maybe would have put 2½ stars if I could have). PROS: lightweight, just the right size for my hand, feels "compact" but not too small. It was easy to pair with my computer, no noticeable "lag," seems to work on most surfaces (even upholstery, or on the back of my 3-ring notebook). It is a very good option for an on-the-go application like using with a laptop and fits in my bag well (it might be even better if it was a little less thick, but it actually feels thinner than the picture shows it to be, so I really cant complain about that). I also like the "gesture" button on the top that is just below the scroll wheel (it is a handy feature and you can program it to SO MANY different operating system tasks—the default command for the gesture button is to open up the "virtual desktop" view in Windows 8/10, which I like since I use it with a laptop in class and need to switch windows quickly and seamlessly). I also like the Logitech software that comes with it (you can download it easily off the web), which allows a lot of customization of the mouse. CONS: the clicks are pretty LOUD, and I dont know of a way to lower the sound like some of the mouse options claim to have the ability to do. The loudness of the clicks is not always a problem, but if you are using this in a work environment or classroom setting with were silence is key, it feels a little too loud in that setting, and I am constantly worried people around me are thinking Im making too much noise. I had a classmate ask me to stop using this mouse in class because it was "too loud" and was distracting her. I have barely used it since this happened

TL;DR The grip around the mouse if detaching after 8 months. Pic included. Wouldve probably given 4 or 5 stars otherwise. 2017 was not my year for mice... My very first order of the year was on Jan 01 for a "MS Designer" mouse and keyboard. I got on Jan 07. I loved it... Until the wheel broke the 1st wk of March (and even less-so when I found out that this was very common). I tried my best to use it b/c of the price and it being past the return window, but it was no use. I needed to replace it. On April 20th I ordered a Logitech M557 Bluetooth mouse. I loved it... Until 2 months later when the wheel support gave out, pressing down instead of scrolling. It was a pain but I worked it out so that I could continue to use it in that condition.... Until 2 months later, it just completely died. I needed to replace it. I really hope 2018 isnt a repeat... On August 25th, 2017 I ordered this Logitech M535 Bluetooth mouse to replace the M557. I loved it... Until about 2 months ago when the rubber grip warped, and detached from the mouse (picture provided). The warped bump is exactly where my thumb rests so its a little annoying when moving it. After the 6-month mark, I really thought I had found a proper replacement mouse for everyday use. But I can already see the rubber detaching little by little as I use the mouse. Please mice manufacturers... PLEASE! Please make a decent product. I use my mice until they die. And up until 2017, they would last about 5 years. Ive purchased almost as many mice in the last year as I have since the turn of the century.
