A little on my background, for starters I love Logitechs wireless mice, and I spend a tremendous amount of time gaming on my PC with wireless mice. The Logitech G900 is my all time favorite, and I own/have owned nearly every single high end wireless gaming mouse ever released. Before the G900, the R.A.T. 9 was my favorite, and still have a few of them in the drawer where all my gaming mice go to die. While the R.A.T. 9 still does some things better than even the G900/903, the overall performance of the G900 is unmatched IMO. So, of course, I wanted the latest greatest, and I purchased the new G Pro Wireless. Doing a lot of gaming, you find yourself changing the optical resolution countless times during play. Well, Logitech decided to remove the most useful buttons on the G900/903, the resolution buttons, and replaced them with a single button that scrolls through the entire cycle of resolutions set in your profile, in one direction, from lowest to highest. This is completely useless for me, I have absolutely no desire to pick my mouse up constantly, in order to push the button countless times, in order to locate the desired setting. So, a virtually unused G Pro Wireless mouse has now been placed in The Drawer, and my all time favorite G900 has been resurrected from that crypt. I also purchased a SteelSeries Rival 650, at the same time I purchased my G Pro, and while it will be used, and at least the button for switching the resolution resides on the top of the mouse where it should be, but that mouse only has two resolution settings from which to choose. This is still not optimal for my uses, and as such, while the Rival 650 will get used some, unlike the G Pro Wireless, my G900 will continue to be my go to, all-time favorite, second most functional mouse I have ever owned.
