For starters the mousepad is huge, way bigger than most mousepads which wouldnt be a problem but it only comes in one size and it is filled with circuitry so if you bend it then it will break. For people with limited space this simply isnt an option. And evidently Logitech doesnt use their own products because they thought it would be cool if it had a color changing light on it that never turns off in addition to a blinding white always on led. Maybe you can turn this off in the logitech software but I have the usb cable plugged directly into an outlet so I cant use the logitech hub to change any settings on my mouse mat. Believe it or not sometimes people use wireless technology so they can be away from their computers while they use their peripherals. So my options are to put some black tape over the lights (super ghetto) or just plug the charging cable directly into my wireless mouse (which sorta defeats the purpose) and not even use this $100 charging pad.

Stopped charging my G903 after about 4 months. Logitech customer support is a total joke. Set up a warranty ticket, got no response for over a week then they just closed it with an automated message. Ticket number is 07337325 if anyone at Logitech cares about their customers.

I use this mouse pad with the G502 Logitech wireless mouse. Ive been using the wired version of the G502 for years and always loved it, so I figured the wireless and wireless charging would be great. The hardware its self is amazing. Logitech is hardware company. Logitech IS NOT a software company and theyve seriously dropped the ball with the software for this product line, so much so that Im considering not using Logitech products in the future at all. If youre used Logitech Gaming products in the past couple of years youve probably used the Logitech Gaming Software. It was far from being great, but it did function. With the Lightspeed products, the Logitech Gaming software no longer works. You have to download and use a new application called GHub. This software is terrible and single handily ruins the products that require it. Its possible to get the software to run and work with the hardware...UNTIL you need to unplug any of the hardware from the computer (mouse or mouse pad). Once youve unplugged it, it can be impossible to get the GHub software to detect ANY hardware without restarting your entire computer. Just shutting down the software and re-loading it doesnt help and neither does unplugging and re-plugging the devices back into different USB ports. You MUST restart your entire computer and re-run the software to get it to detect the mouse and (or) mouse pad again. I wish it was just me or my computer/setup, but a quick Google search will show you lots of others with the exact same issue....all based on the GHub software. Logitech Support always says the same thing...re-install the software and try again. But re-installing requires a restart, which isnt any better than just having to restart you computer anyway. Im not a gamer, I use the mouse and mouse pad for design work and work mainly on a Mac. I can tell you the GHub software is absolutely terrible for Mac. On top of that, I let a friend borrow and use both the mouse pad and mouse for gaming and he had the same issues on a modern windows gaming system. So with these products you end up with what would be amazing hardware that is TOTALLY RUINED by god awful software that wasnt even needed in the first place. The now obsolete Logitech Gaming software actually had MORE features and ran 100% better than this new GHUB pile of crap. If you want a wireless Logitech mouse just get a normal wireless mouse and stay away from the Lightspeed/PowerPlay stuff until they either fix the software or just trash altogether and go back to the previous software that worked. Im going to be getting rid of the mouse and mouse pad and going back to the wired G502 mouse for now. Not only is it less than half the price, it works so much better because it doesnt require the GHub software to function. And I"ll be looking for a replacement for Logitech in general in the future. ******** EDIT Just wanted to leave an update after finding out the GHub software is actually worse than I thought. In my review I said the software looses the connection to the Mouse/Mouse pad after unplugging either of the devices. Thats true, but Ive since found that the GHub software also looses connection when your computer goes to sleep or is locked. This means when you go to use your computer again it has to wait to try to detect the mouse and mouse pad all over again, which can take anywhere from 20 seconds to never, requiring a restart to get it to work again. So yeah, the software is terrible and even worse than I initially thought.

Days after I got this the soft portion of the mouse pad started coming apart. I went through the hassle of registering the product on the Logitech.com website and opening a support ticket and then it was closed with no help whatsoever. I then had to reopen the case and they still have said nothing. Ill probably have to return this to Amazon which I hate doing because its not their fault, but I will never buy Logitech again.

Ive been a Logitech customer for years and liked there devices, but the software has always been glitchy. Ive had the hope that they would improve but with my latest purchase the keyboard, mouse, and headset freeze up every few seconds and support refuses to help saying its been isolated to my hub. I know this isnt the case since everything works fine as soon as any game starts. Their support is structured in a way that theres no way to report a bug or get your case escalated without convincing tier 1 support, and this will almost always result in an RMA, which isnt necessary for software and firmware bugs.
