Let me answer all the questions I had (based upon reported problems with other mouse pads) that made me determine that this a great Mouse Pad (I owned this 5 months and use it 8 hours a day) But first, my one and only gripe- all else is positive: My blue laser mouse (Microsoft Wireless Mouse Model 1383 Mobile 4000) tracks with a slight drag. The soft surface makes it not flow as freely as I would prefer. Over very long periods of intense work, it feels slightly tedious and tiresome. But, this might be preferential. To some, this drag might aid with accuracy over a more fluid and free mouse movement. My next pad will be of the solid, slick surface type. 1) Does it smell like chemicals? Answer: No. I am very sensitive to smells. Many mouse pads and urethane type products reek of foul chemicals and I fear may actually be toxic. I returned a mouse pad because it leached a nasty chemical smell and gave me a headache. 2) Is the wrist pad comfortable? Yes. This answer will vary with ones taste. This is not very soft, as some pads bottom out from pressure and act like they are not there at all while the other extreme they are hard as rock (worst case scenario to me and some reported this to be too hard). This one is firm yet giving. Almost perfect for me. It could be a little softer but not any harder to make me happy. If you are very sensitive to firmness, probably pass. I am sensitive to firmness a little- I prefer soft than hard. I use this for hours and never had a sore wrist from the pad. The wrist pad material feels like a quality, firm, spongy foam. 3) Quality? Simply, excellent. It doesnt curl up, no fraying edges. It has substantial weight and is thick. I think it will last many years. Other than the dirt, it looks brand new after 100s of hours of use. 4) Size? Its just long enough for my large hand with no room to spare, lengthwise. Another half inch to an inch longer would be better. I have to choke up a little on the pad with my wrist back toward me as to not run out of room. My palm almost straddles the wrist pad a little. Not ideal but really not a problem either. I dont really notice, however, I would be more comfortable if i could extend forward more. Do you have big hands? Try to look for something a little longer, but if you cant find something else of quality and affordable, buy this one. The other great attributes makes this a winner and I personally wouldnt trade quality, comfort for length while giving up the latter. The pivot of my wrist to the tip of my middle finger is 8 inches. When holding my mouse, my wrist to the tip of my small mouse is 6 inches. Mouse wrist pad base to the far tip of pad is 7 inches. Pad is 8 inches wide (plenty wide) total length of pad is 9 inches including wrist pad. Wrist pad is 1 inch thick and doesnt visually deform under the pressure of my wrist but gives just enough to not feel rock hard and yet feels a little soft. 4) Grip? Excellent. This pad will not slide around. If you want to move it, you probably need to pick it up to relocate it. I like it to be easily movable, relocatable on my bed, so I keep the plastic wrapping on it so it will slide its position on my bed but never slides when operating. I peeled off the backing plastic wrap shipping protector and it gripped my bed so well I carefully put the plastic sheet back on and it stayed on. Very Grippy! This is the best mouse pad I ever had. The 3 year warranty stands up to me because i dont think I will need it. Its extremely well made, especially for the price. It is easily worth twice the price. It seems almost impossible to find real quality and especially quality and economy these days in anything. *I have no affiliation with this brand and I did a lot of research and bought this mouse pad based upon the reviews and the companys claims and product parameters. The only thing where the claims may not hold up for everyone, is that the pad might be too hard for some peoples wrist and the soft surface could cause enough drag to make their wrist get sore. But both these concerns are very marginal and I suggest getting this and trying it. For the life of me, I could not find a better mouse pad especially at near this price.

It is not gel, it is foam. It is not memory foam either, a hard foam that hurt my wrist to use it. I am changing my review to 5 stars because after I returned it the seller went above and beyond to make me happy and sent me a new one. However it just isnt for me. It is too firm and just jacks up my wrist. So if you have thin wrists I guess maybe look somewhere else, but it is a fine product. If you dont want it to stick to your desk do not take off the plastic on the back. I thought it would just kind of grip the desk, but it sticks strongly so you have to lift it up to move it, almost like a light adhesive. Good if you know you wont need to move it but a pain to adjust.

Arrived in a timely manner. Mouse pad of very good quality if rather basic in appearance. Non-slip backing is of shiny plastic, like an old colorform applique, which sticks firmly to my polyurethane-finished wooden desktop yet removes easily. Fabric covering mouse pad is nondescript black polyester. The gel wrist rest seems to have multiple layers, the top being gel, the lower layer being some kind of very firm foam or something similar. Im finding it quite comfortable and functional.

We received the two mouse pads okay and on time. Thank you!!! OMG - Love, LOVE these mouse pads!!!!! So comfortable and I really adore the under-grip which keeps it in place!!!! Very unique. You have done a great job getting this item just so - I really like the size of the space available to move the mouse on. The shape of it too is totally right for ease of movement with the little lip that stops the mouse from dropping off the sides!! Perfecto!!! - and the wrist cushion - fabulous ergonomic design!!!! The second mouse pad was for another area of our organization - I shall get that young ladies feed-back when I see her. BRW Reception in LA.

I like large size, quality construction, comfort and appearance. Worth higher price as compared to other cheaply made mouse pads that are being sold on line. After buying and trying one, I bought two more.

This may just be personal taste, but I hated it and am returning it. The wrist rest feels like its filled with cement. Very hard and uncomfortable. I tried it for less than a minute and my wrist immediately hurt. Returning it and getting a mouse pad with a GEL wrist rest.

This is a useful product but it is not an end-all product. I found it to be valuable at work but a nuisance at home. By this I mean that I found it uncomfortable at my home desk but comfortable at my work desk, and I think this is because they are set up differently and have different mice. It also depends on where I place my wrist; some positions are more comfortable than others. So some personal customization is required. This is only a minor point because I bought this mousepad primarily for my work desk anyway. In that location and set up, it does what it says it does. (The cushion doesnt appear to "mold" though.) The pad doesnt move around at all, which is nice. Some mouse pads I used in past didnt stick to their surface. This one does. Yet it is easy to move.

I like the feel of the wrist pad vs. previous mouse pads I’ve owned, which felt like an inflatable balloon filled with jelly. This is more comfortable, while at the same time provides the support that is needed to reduce the risk of wrist strain. Well done!

I really like this mouse pad. It replaced an older one that also had a wrist rest. This new one seemed a bit thicker under my wrist and it took a minute to get used to. Now I really appreciate the positioning of my wrist. Much straighter than my old squishy one. The shape of it gives plenty of room to move back and forth and the edge is slightly raised. This keeps your mouse from running off the edge and keeps the pad laying flat. No edges curling up. The only thing I dont care for is the sticky back. It is meant to hold it in place but I like to clean under the pad and my husband actually uses it in a different position than I , so I stuck a piece of fabric on the back so it will slide when I want and also seems to stay in place while in use. This was an easy fix for me so still a 5 star product.

Love this mouse pad! Not only is the shape and height of the wrist rest perfect but the non-slip material on the bottom keeps it firmly in place. I can tell a huge difference in wrist fatigue since Ive been using this for two weeks now. If you work on your computer a lot and always end your day with that achy feeling in your wrist and up your forearm you need to try this ergonomic mouse pad. Youll be amazed at the difference it makes. Very good quality and well worth the money.
