Seeing that this was the Amazon equivalent to the Logitec Performance MX full-size mouse (at half the price), I decided to give it a shot. First thing I noticed upon taking it out of the package was that the pad at the front end of the mouse was not as thick as the pad at the back end. Any time I clicked the buttons the mouse would rock on the uneven pads. Easy enough to fix by adding a few layers of scotch tape over the front pad to thicken it up, but disappointing nonetheless. Once that was fixed, I started using it. Its definitely ergonomic and comfortable to hold. Its also pretty smooth on larger motions, though it struggles a bit with small movements. I doubt it would be enough to bother the average user, but as someone who uses this mouse a lot for computer drafting (which requires small, precise movements) it can make things more difficult than they need to be. At least the extra buttons are well placed. If youre not the type to use them, you usually wont accidentally hit them. If you are the type to use them, theyre close enough that you wont need to contort your hand to reach, and they feel pretty solid. Ive also noticed that this mouse burns through batteries like nobodys business. Its now on its 3rd set of batteries in 5 months. At 2 batteries a pop, thats pretty bad. For reference, I treat this mouse pretty similar to the way I treat my Logitech M510 mouse and the M510 usually goes a year-plus without needing new batteries. Overall, the bells and whistles are well-designed but some of the basic functionality feels like its been overlooked. Its a good deal for the price, but if you need a performance mouse this isnt quite it.

The wheel does not spin freely like the competitors MX model. I took a chance because this was so cheap verus spending $60-$125.

I have small hands, and short fingers. Ive had no problems with all of the other mice that I have used. This mouse, though, feels oversized. The wheel is farther down the front of the mouse, than normal. If you dont have a long index finger, you feel that you have to "reach" in order to move the wheel. The overall size of the mouse feels large and heavy. I knew within 15 min after it was delivered that I didnt like it. Called Amazon right away, and will return it. If youve got big hands or youre a big person, this mouse is good for you.

I bought this to replace my aging Logitech Performance Mouse MX. Its got the same basic design and button layout, but its definitely not the same quality. First, it takes two AA batteries instead of one. It has great battery life, but its using them twice as fast. Second, it feels lighter so it seems less substantial. If you are coming from a Logitech, you will be flying all over the place. Finally, the biggest difference is software. The Logitech software has a bunch of great options for customizing pointer speed, and feel, and button assignments. You cant do any of this with the Amazon mouse. So all in all its pretty good, but its not great. If you use any buttons beside the left and right, you will probably find it lacking.
