A wonderful accessory to have!
I really like this vent clip - it’s easy to put together and clips on nicely on my vent. It’s cool that you can use it horizontally and vertically. Horizontal works better for me when using GPS. It also tilts and rotates which is so fancy! I have a pop socket on my phone also so I have to have it clipped on the bottom of my phone. The top doesn’t work since it hits all the side buttons. I have a larger phone - xs max so it did take a minute to clip it in without it popping out. I’d say a smaller phone would work best but it still does a nice job for me! It does stick out from the vent quite a bit and my vents are so close to my steering wheel - only annoying part It’s a good value for the price and has held up so far!

Perfect, but only with a small zip tie!
Works perfectly fine for the first few weeks, and then it will fly off at bumps and sharp turns. You have to zip tie it to your vent if you plan on getting this particular holder. I know it sucks to have to do that, but it holds the phone perfectly snug, it just needs to be more secure on the vent itself. If you don’t want to have to zip tie it to secure it to the vent, don’t get it. If you don’t mind a small zip tie to ensure it doesn’t fly off while driving, go for it. Simple as that.

The Scosche Vent mount for smartphones was not a disappointment. It installed super easy, and it hold my phone with no problems. Holds phone steady. Easy to remove phone from the vent mount also. Even easier to remove the vent mount in case you want it in a different location or for whatever reason.

Makes Using My GPS on MY Phone Easy
This product is great! It makes using my GPS on my phone super easy as it's easy to install in my car, put my phone in, see my phone, and take my phone out. It connects easily for my AC vent which is in exactly the right spot for me to see easily.

Weak phone vent mount.
I received a Universal Vent Mount for Smartphones made by Scosche. I thought it would be a great product but this particular holder was weak and hard to use. The design is pretty basic in that you insert the 2 vent clips onto the car vents to maintain its weight and support. My Chevy car has vents that are slightly curved so it did not lay completely flat. Also it takes 2 hands to open the phone holder and secure it in place. Other phone holders have a push button that opens the wide holder automatically and can be completed with a single hand. This phone holder was difficult to open and keep open while placing your phone inside. The only thing that I liked about this phone vent mount was the rubber holding the phone securely in place. My phone felt tight and locked. It never fell off or got loose.

Winner winner
I am a huge fan of this product. We got it on a whim. Nothing else had worked. We don’t like the ones you have to basically glue to the dashboard. We want to be able to take it off and move it at will. (Check!) We also can’t use the ones with magnets. My partner’s phone is huge and heavy and falls off the second we hit a small bump. This slides so nicely and securely into the air vent. It has truly been the best product of its type that we have tried!

Great for hands free
I really like how easy to use that this is. It holds my iPhone and my husband’s phone… many other holders have been either/or but not both. It also holds my daughters phone which is much larger than mine. It attaches easily but feels really secure. It’s great to allow me to be hands free while driving. My husband really likes this so I wouldn’t be surprised if it disappeared from my van and ended up in his work truck!

Little thing that works great
The phone holder does exactly what it's supposed to do. I feel it holds my phone securely and does not shift around during driving. It does sit on a vent so you have to be okay with loosing the airflow a bit to completely. I dont like constant cold air (or hot air during winter) to blow on my phone so I turn the off. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (larger phone) that fits just fine. The spring holder seems to expand to accommodate a larger phone. In the picture, the holder is attached to the vent closest to the driver in a 2018 Nissan Rogue.

What a convenient gadget. It took me less than a minute to assemble it together. It slides into the air vent nicely and stays put. It worked great with my galaxy s21 it has a thing that extends on the side so it will form to the size of the phone.

What a great phone holder! I've been through so many car phone holders and they either don't stay and wobble or they break! I love how this clips onto the vent and I can move it and turn it. I have a Samsung 9 and an iPhone 11 and they both fit perfect!
