I have had two of these mounts and both broke within a year due to the same issue. The lever and internal mechanism used to spring lock the mount is cheap plastic. The internal piece breaks off after a few months.

Good concept, cheap product.
I love popsocket and I love the concept of this product but I have had to buy 2 of these within the last year. The suction cup part always breaks. It’s flimsy and a cheap piece of plastic. I hope they read reviews and remake these.

This windshield mount has been a life saver for me! It did not stick to the dash like it said it would, however, it did stick to my windshield pretty great. I door-dash and Instacart so this helps so much since I use my navigation to deliver a lot. A little pricey but if you have the money I would definitely use it. It’s hard to find things that works since I always have my pop socket on my phone.
