Why no S-Pen?
I purchased two for my sister and roommate for a holiday gift. So far they performed well. I've a little worry about the regular wear and tear on the folding screen, but it looks as though my worries are un founded. My roommate doesn't open hers very much for the same worry, my sister on the other hand never closes hers. Both phones are still in near new condition. I highly recommend buying protective cases for this product, and seeing as it doesn't come with the phone the fold 5 edition s-pen to really get the most out of it. Very pleased except the s- pen has to be bought separately.

Great phone, sleek design with 2 main challenges
I love the phone had it for months. The design is slick, thin and everything works great. The number one issue is the width of the cover screen and the phone in general. Way too small for adequate keyboard interaction. Number two is the stylus integration, first it is not stored in the phone making the purchase of a clumsy cover necessary, then the cover screen does not support the pen, forcing you to unfold the phone in order to use the phone. If Samsung solves these 2 major issues the phone is golden, but if not I'll go back to the ultra.

Great multi-task
Pre-ordered the phone and got the samsung online exclusive blue color. So far I dont have problems with it and works great. Very good at multi-tasking and battery is superb. Full charge can last me 1.5 days. I like the big screen when doing emails and viewing pdf.

Much improved in person, not as much on paper!
This is my first foldable phone. I ordered a Z Fold 4 a couple of months ago and then realized the 5 would be out soon so I cancelled it and waited. I'm glad I did! No gap hinge, thinner and lighter - no big deal, right? Once you have it in your hand, you'll see it is actually a pretty big deal. I spent a lot of time looking at the 4 trying to decide if I wanted to preorder a 5 and the first time I was hands-on, I was surprised by the difference! The cover screen is too narrow. It just is. Period. The inside screen is fantastic, especially for browsing! I now do all the things on my phone that I would have stopped and picked up a tablet or gone to my computer to do on a larger screen. The only thing that doesn't work so great is video. The letterbox bars are sooo big. Forget about zooming in - you lose probably 30-40% of the picture! The aspect ratio is the same as an iPad but that's the main reason I don't have an iPad. ;) Maybe in the future, they can go a bit wider on the cover screen with a wider inside aspect ratio? I hope so. The cases are underwhelming and overpriced, as usual. The s-pen case is okay and I got it at a much discounted rate (or I wouldn't have bought it). But it has no stand and it won't work with my magentic car mount so that isn't great. You also have to stick the front cover case on which isn't good when you want to swap cases or go caseless. Some of the cheapest cases end up being the most functional again. Cameras are fine but not really improved even compared to my older S20+...they're fine but not terribly exciting. The inside under-screen camera is slightly better but still pretty bad. The phone feels okay in my pocket - a bit heavier and bulkier but not terrible. But it won't even begin to work in my bike's handlebar mount (it's too thick for the clamps). Yes, the crease is noticeable, especially in a bright room but it isn't noticeable just looking straight on at the screen for the most part. The best part is that I'm excited to use a phone again - it's been a long time since I've had a new phone interest me like this! That's what the Fold is all about!
