I bought this camera for my 9-year-old daughter for Christmas. The overall quality is okay for a kid, I guess. The camera body is very thin plastic and the lens is always exposed as there is no lens cover. The pictures look onscreen like those I used to take on my flip phone camera from about 15 years ago. For the money I paid, I guess I expected about as much. But the thing that I find unacceptable is that the battery life is terrible. In two weeks the camera has burned through a 16 pack of AAA batteries. That is not ultimately going to be sustainable for us. I would not buy this camera again and would opt, instead, to look for a little bit more expensive camera with a better rating and a better brand name.

Happy Happy Joy Joy! It was just as it was advertised, so it gets four stars, what else is there to say! They would get five stars if they went above and beyond what was advertised and expected. Imagine if your grocery store was like this and you had to rate every product you purchased! How annoying would that be?

I wish I could return it but I think it’s too late this is one of the worst purchases I did. Every time I look at the camera is like having a nightmare!!!

This camera takes the crappiest pictures ever. Fuzzy images so bad you cant use them at all. Vivitar should be ashamed of themselves putting something like this out on the market. Complete waste of my money.

I bought this wondering if it would take good pictures as it is very small. I had a friend of mine take a couple and it does a great job. I would buy this again.

Slightly disappointed the Vivitar site has no available downloads for software, need to find a work-around.

For such a small camera it takes GREAT picture. Love it - I throw it in my purse and always have it with me.

What a piece of crap! The camera is made of such garbage that the battery cover won’t even close when batteries are in it! The picture quality looks like the pictures that were taken in the very first camera phones 12 years ago. If my daughter hadn’t thrown out the packaging it came in without me knowing I would have returned it.

Very cheap and didn’t take good pictures. I’d rather have my daughter use a film camera than this. Pictures looked like they were taken in early 1400s
