I want a camera that fits in my shirt pocket. Sony does, but overall TOO small, and I have average size hands. All three main buttons - Power, Shutter and Movie are extremely small and seem barely there, not tactile enough for me, I find myself fumbling for the on button and shutter. Also, the HD movies record to AVCHD, a format that is still not very edit friendly, at least not in iMovie. Also Sony seems to have gone overboard with selections/menus. I mean, theres an Auto mode AND a "Super Auto Mode"! Do we really need that? I wonder how many photographers actually use all the effects, modes, micro variations of exposure control. I dont, but if I did, it takes a while to even FIND what you want, in the menu, sub-menu, sub-sub-menu. Overall its too many unnecessary bells and whistles. But I guess you can say that about all the major camera brands. Ill be sending mine back, and keep looking for the perfect pocket cam.

Pictures were good, not spectacular. Flash was OK, better than most Canon cameras which consistently over-expose or erratically fill flash Does not have Macro function and does poorly at close-up photos. Very little JPEG compression so files are quite large. After 2 years stopped working for no apparent reason and lens will not go back in or fully out.
