My wife is a photographer so the expectation was already high for a point and shoot. We figured it wouldnt be a big deal using a low cost camera like this for general underwater or outside pictures; its not like their going to be published. Let me tell you, this camera takes such horrible pictures that they were unusable. All were out of focus and/or grainy. All had a haze around any lit area in the picture. What we ended up doing was just switching to using our cell phones; its pictures were over the top better quality. The kit is a neat idea, and the items included were top notch (most accessories were Vivitar). The memory card was also good. But the camera was complete crap. When you read the reviews you will see that everyone has fog issues. Ours also appeared foggy but this wasnt actual fog on the lens; at least not on ours, its the sensors inability to process light. It simply puts a haze around anything well lit. I dont have pictures to upload for comparison but the quality was as low as my 10 year old clam-shell phone camera. Just terrible!!
