This may be a fine camera, worthy of 5 stars but mine arrived DOA. It does not come with a separate charger for the battery (although you can buy that) but charges in the camera by connecting the USB cable. Once connected, the charge light never came on. Tried a different outlet, cord, and charger, no luck so I processed a return. 6 days (not 2 as stated) after they received the camera, I had to call Amazon to receive my refund. Again, this may be a great camera and I got the one in a thousand that would not charge. This is more a review of this seller and their lack of a timely response. Also purchased the protection plan so I have the added hassle of dealing with a refund for that.

My daughter has a cruise for this weekend. Ordered camera back in March, just got out of box the other day to charge and the zoom button snapped off. Tried to return it and there is a deadline date to return April 19. so now we have a 70 dollar camera that doesnt work and cant return. I have email manufacture and Amazon and have heard nothing. End up buying another Camer of course not this one. Junk!

Great camera, water proof and shock resistant. Great for doing outdoor inspections.

I bought the Fuji FinePix XP120 for my daughter thinking a shock proof camera could handle an accidental drop from her hands. The camera feel from her hand and landed on the ground, a two feet total drop height; the shock proof is claimed to be 5.8 feet. The camera quickly stopped working. I sent it back for repair and received a bill to complete the repair. The camera was less than 4 months old, I inquired about the repair cost and I was told that the warranty for a Shock Proof camera does not cover drops, huh? I left a message with the manager in the repair department but have not heard back from him. I still have not heard back from the manager for the camera repair. Fuji said they will be sending me the camera back not repair if I do not pay for the repair and return fee.

Install Flash Player Check out the video - xp120 - taken in January, 2018, St. Thomas; and the picture - xp80 - taken in early February, 2016, Barbados both while snorkeling. xp80 purchased new in 2016, also used in 2018. Very good underwater pics & videos with both. Some okay - mainly because of low light when going deeper. These are inexpensive point and shoot cameras that performed admirably during the cruises. Ive also used both for land shots and they do well. in the 3 years owning the xp80 and the year owning the xp120, Ive never had a problem. Will be using both again this year, underwater snorkeling and on land. I tried using a Go-Pro headset and also a GP style wrist attachment with the camera (purchased the camera attachment & and head/wrist set to do this) but found it much easier to simply hold the camera in one hand (with a wrist strap of course) so I could point with more accuracy and use both hands for swimming when needed. Ill try to remember to post additional pics after our 2019 Caribbean cruise.

Takes fine pictures out of the water. The GPS process is not good: it is confusing, not intuitive, and doesnt work nearly as well as other brands. But that isnt the real problem. The camera doesnt hold up well and underwater pictures dont compare to a GoPro. I recently returned from a week snorkeling in the Galapagos. It was the first time Ive used the camera in the water other than to try it out in a swimming pool before we left. The camera worked fine for the first two snorkeling outings. But then it got erratic. Some buttons would not work, others did. Turn it off and on again and different buttons work. Couldnt use it for the rest of the trip. Still under warranty so sent it in to Fujifilms warranty place in New Jersey. They sent an acknowledgment a week ago but havent heard from them since. The acknowledgment included a link for status updates so I checked that today (a week later). It says they are waiting for approval of a repair estimate of $100 + $9 shipping! They must have decided to claim that the problem is not their fault, although I dont know why. No water ever got into the battery compartment which is the only thing I had any control over. When we returned home I viewed the photos and videos on computer screen. Disappointed in the colors. I wouldnt have been quite so disappointed except that I have the videos taken by others with their GoPros and theirs are great. I dont have any future snorkeling trips planned right now. If I plan one in the future it wont be with a Fujifilm product.
