This replaced a now dead early Canon point&shoot that I liked for its simplicity & ease of use. This one, while capable of much more than the old one, is also simple to operate, even for a decrepit & digitally/electronically challenged individual such as myself. All I do are snaps, and this product accomplishes that to a "T".
This package provided all that I would need to be able to use my camera in the most effective way. Each of the items compliments the other and is a great starter kit. At some point Im sure that I will change to a more professional style camera, but this is great for my needs at the moment. Everything arrived in great condition and a day earlier than I had expected. The only item I replaced was the SD card. For my plans, going for the 64 GB was the only way to go. That just means I have a 32 GB back-up ready to use. This is a great camera choice.
I like the overall feel of my camera and the portability. Even though people may think if I have an iPhone why the camera, many reason first one that comes to mind is my images on the iPhone sometimes are fuzzy because my hands move perhaps, but with my camera, pictures are clear not fuzzy perhaps the way it fits in my hands, I just like it, don’t seem to have resolution issues when trying to order prints either, big plus!
I was so surprised how small this camera is. I was replacing a different Canon that kept giving me a "change batteries" message and I was so sick of it that I went online and found this camera and it was delivered the same day. It takes great pictures and is easy to use. It is similar to my old camera so I am able to use it without much trouble. I did order extra batteries so that I would always have one available. I am able to use my old cameras cable to download pictures so I dont have to take out the card. I find that taking the card in and out can be a problem. If you want a simple camera that takes good pictures, I would recommend this one.
Im a Realtor and I needed a quick replacement for my Canon camera which had recently stopped working. (I had used it for a number of years) I researched several online options. I choose this Canon PowerShot and am very happy since it arrived very quickly. My photos of new home listings upload easily to my computer to be posted on my real estate websites. I was really pleased with all the "extras" that came with my new camera since my previous camera had been purchased at a local camera store as a camera only. The new one included an SD Card, card reader, a mini tripod, screen savers, cleaning kit and a card storage case. This was in addition to the battery and charger that was part of the camera package. Ive only used it on one occasion so far but Im very pleased.
