Note, I use this almost exclusively as a vlogging camera so this review is for the video aspect. Video wise, in this price range this is pretty much the best option for 1080P 30 or 60fps. The low light shooting is reasonable, it has a quick record activation, and the focus is only semi frustrating (no camera is great on this in this price range). I have used canon P&S for videos for over 6 years, and unfortunately the camera quality in the under $250 range has degraded. I even branched out to Nikon and panasonic but no one is doing it well. I have only taken a few photos with the camera and it doesnt seem very consistent. Blurs easily, not sure if I need to practice with the adjustments or if it is just not great. All in all, not great, but sufficient and really the best item in this price range for video in a P&S

The camera itself gets 5 stars for the photos produced. Ease of use with owners manual and the wifi Canon Gateway gets 1 star. Seriously folks, Im an intelligent person but flipping back and forth between pages of the full version of the owners manual (which you gain access to via the web, and must print off yourself) is ridiculous. Theres no sequential order to how the information is presented, and I just spent over two hours trying to connect the camera via wifi with no success. Look at feedback regarding the app for iphones. What a waste of time. Love the way the camera takes photos. Very much dislike the way Canon provides information for using this camera. Dont think that I would buy it again, had I known about these issues. Also, be forwarned that battery life is low, regardless of using an actual "Canon" brand battery or other similar battery.
