Brocken lense
I have been using this camera for about 2 years. I’m very happy with the results etc etc. 12 months ago the standard selp1650 lense stopped working until I had to replace it at my own cost. Today whilst on holiday in Malta the second lense i bought has developed the exact same issue and there isn’t even a Sony supplier here to buy a third lense. However I now have to decide do i continue buying lenses from Sony that really don’t last very long or sell the camera and switch back to cannon (my 450d from 10 years ago is still in fully working order)

I bought my camera a few weeks ago. I find it easy to use and try the various features as I am a beginner. Finally, I like that it is compact and easy to carry.

Impressive camera, light and versatile.
I like the manual settings and drive speed to capture a huminbird iin flight. The stereo microphones are great for capturing nature sounds of rain, frogs, geese, songbirds, and life in a neighborhood. and I do not need a heavy tripod. Sometimes, I just use my little "Beanbag" I carry with me. The only issue I see is noise at high ISO settings.

A pleasure to use
Bought just before Christmas 2018, I've had very little chance to use this yet, but when I have the results have been impressive. It is a pleasure to use but I still need time to get accustomed to all the features.
Easy to use, great results
Got this camera for a backpacking trip round Peru. The camera is light, and compact yet gives fantastic results. It’s easy to use, and the ability to swap lenses gives it a huge degree of flexibility. The auto function gives great results in a quick ‘point and shoot’ scenario, and the manual functions allow greater refinement when time allows. It allowed me to capture fantastic memories from a wonderful trip, that are displayed throughout my house.
Perfect for an amateur
This camera has done everything I expected/wanted. Easy to use, plenty of guides on YouTube, and plenty of lenses out there.
