This lens is perfect for landscape photography, it has fantastic clarity, great focus, is very quick, and is very durable. I have taken this lens out into the desert for my photography, dropped it a couple times into the dirt, and have seen no signs of damage whatsoever. At the price point, this lens is perfect for both new photographers and seasoned ones alike. Have recommend it to several photographers and will continue to look for more products from the company.

I love playing with this lens. I have a Sony a6000 and it seems to work really well with it. I am a relative novice but I picked up how to manually adjust the settings and play with the a6000 to get some really great photos. That being said, there can be quite a bit of distortion on the corners/edges and even with the wonderful tools the Sony a6000 has to focus, it can still be quite difficult to get a crisp and clear shot. But, again, this could be due to my novice experience. However, I almost always choose to shoot with this lens in a lot of settings. Recently, I was shooting some photography at an event with low lighting and it did spectacularly well.

It works great with the a6300. You can program the cameras manual focus magnification helper to show a zoomed in section of the view finder. This allows you to set the focus accurately. When in a rush to take pics of fast moving objects, like kids, the extra time it takes to shoot could cost you your shot, however, when taking landscape and architectural shots the extra time has no impact. The lens isnt as sharp as my old konica minolta but it also costs a lot less.

I’m a fan of fully manual lenses and this one wont let you down. After doing some skateboarding photography I wanted to get a wide angle lens to get better shots and this thing is perfect for it. It’s a bit warpy on the edges but I expected that. Build quality is five stars. Fully metal with some decent weight to it. Picture clarity seems to be on point so far. I’ve only had it two days but it’s stayed on my camera the entire time.

So far it seems great haven’t had much time to use it. It is quite heavier than expected which isn’t a bad thing. Very sold lens. The apurature ring is clicked. The focus ring if very smooth. The lens hood has a button to remove it so don’t have to worry about it twisting off. Mine was actually black instead of the blue color you see in the photos. So far I’m happy with my purchase.

As advertised. Solid, mostly metal prime lens. Its totally manual focus and aperture, so you have to actually know how to use your camera. Good corner to corner sharpness, very low image distortion. Mild but manageable vignetting - seems most apparent on long exposure images when you increase the contrast in post-processing.

Was very skeptical about this lens because of the price. It turned out to be a great lens with very little distortion. I got it to replace a 16mm that I broke while shooting in the Middle East. I am very pleased with this lens.
