Im ashamed to mention I have been through 4 ring lights but... I have been through 4 RING LIGHTS. I thought in the beginning a ring light was just a ring light and I was so wrong. They are NOT all created equal. This Zomei one however is by far my favorite for many reasons but I will list a few. In comparison to the ring light I was using before (Neewer) the Zomei is much lighter but noticeably more durable. From the stand to the actual light - nothing about it is flimsy. The assembly was easy as 123. Simple. This baby was made so well and I am highly impressed. The width of the light is thinner than my Neewer which I personally think looks better. The bulky Neewer ring light on such a skinny stand is one reason I have been through 4 ring lights. LED lights are always a plus. Today I used my light to film for about 4 hours straight and I didnt break a sweat! Now my favorite part of this light is the color temperature control. That part won me over! My other lights had little annoying plastic panels I would have to take off and clip on if I wanted the warmer temp. color... talk about time consuming. This light has a built in knob that changes the temp. color AND a dimmer. I only wish the carry bag that was included was padded on the inside for extra security and that the stand had a carry case. The stand does fold down fairly small but a case would be perfect! Either way I am loving this light so far. I use my lights just about everyday so finding a good one is very important to me and I think this one will be my last purchase. Oh and I forgot to mention you get a tripod head which I never use because I feel more comfortable with my camera on a separate tripod and a phone clamp which I am excited to try when I go live or something. Sorry for the long review I just really enjoy this, Im even going to post a video on Youtube in detail and showing it in action . Ill be back with any updates!

Install Flash Player I was so shocked at how lightweight and easy to use this ring light was. It was well packaged and has a really great lighting quality. This has already been such a great tool for my studio set up and Im looking forward to being able to travel with it as well. Such a great deal for the price! I paid much more for my fluorescent ring light and this one is much better.

Let me start off by saying that I have bought 3 other ring light in the course of 6 years so far and this one by far is the best ring light Ive ever owned. The first ring light I ever bought was a fluorescent bulb, I knew I had to upgrade so I bought 2 others both LED and only one that dims. I have a makeup studio and also film makeup tutorials so lighting is crucial for me. One light goes in my studio, one light in my filming area and I like to keep a backup when I travel for bigger jobs. These lights can be pretty bulky and heavy so when I received the Zomei light it was significantly lighter than my previous ones. -What sets this light apart and just really hits a home run is that not only is this light dimmable, it also comes with a temperature adjustment. If you plan on using this to film or already have some experience youll know how pesky it is when your videos come out too cool tone ad you find yourself adjusting the colors when you edit. This feature saves you the trouble of doing that. This light is thinner than most on the market making this one so much more lightweight. Once the other lights go out I will be replacing them with this model and I highly recommend this light!

I always read reviews for products especially when spending my hard earned money! I am a certified Makeup Artist and was in desperate need for a ring light that would help with my application of makeup on myself and my clients in dull settings. This light works great and I love that it has warm and cool settings. Although this is my first experience with a ring light, I’d highly recommend it for beginners since it’s inexpensive and it does the job when you use the phone/camera stand that is attached. My only takeaway is that it isn’t real sturdy, which isn’t a problem if you don’t plan on moving it a lot and it works best in front of you and nowhere else. I say that because I sat my vanity up against my wall so I had to put the ring light on one side of the vanity which meant that I had to purchase an additional light (I purchased a soft box, I believe that’s what it’s called, I’ll have a review on that later as well) nonetheless, the 2 work well together on both ends of my vanity to give me the lighting I need for now. At some point I’m sure I will upgrade since I am turning my loft into a full studio but again, for now this will do and was a great buy and it also came with a thin carrying bag, a small velvet pouch - I’m guessing for the phone stand and assembly directions. The height is over 5’4” and the light is adjustable meaning you can tilt it forward and back. Hope this info helps :-).

This light is compact and comes with a carrying bag, so you can have it wherever you go. I like that the stand folds up to be about as small as the light itself which is 18 inches across. The stand has different adjustments from really low to fairly high and the light can be pointed at all angles. The stand even has a thread for your camera or other accessories. The light itself is soft and easy to look at when put on the lowest setting and can be increased to great brightness. The temperature knob is very nice also. I like the build and use of the knobs. they are easy to use, look great, and are smooth. The only thing that would worry me is the plastic build that connects the light to the stand. There are notches that allow it to hold in place and Im not sure about the durability of that.

Install Flash Player The ring light is pretty great! Not heavy what’s so ever. Stands great. Comes with a bag for the ring light. You can make the stand high or low. The lights are very bright and dimable. You change the lighting from the back of the ring light. I actually had it on for about 35-45 minutes and it didn’t get hot. I made a short video of the ring light if anyone is having second thoughts, that how it actually looks like. It’s light weight when you carry it with everything attached. Easy to put either a phone or a camera to record or to take a picture!

Install Flash Player I am a YouTuber, and I was looking for something that will work well and will not be too complicated to set up. I came across this light and decided to take the plunge. When it got here I was so happy!!! I could not believe how great it was. I improved the image of my videos and was so bright and nice. There are adjustments to get it as bright as you need and different setting variations. You can get it to be daylight, sunset and a combination of both. the also comes with a stand and compartments for your phone or camera. The light is amazing!!! I am so happy!!! It also comes with a travel bag, which makes it easy to move around with. I would definitely recommend anyone, even my fellow YouTubers to grab this up, you will not regret it. It is amazing for taking pictures as well. For MUA you will love this for when you have clients or your own makeup to do. As a beauty YouTube influencer it gives you the right amount of lighting to showcase your looks, either be it on video or camera. If you have the money, buy something good that will last longer. This is definitely it!!! I highly recommend it!

I have previously tried out a few ring lights and this one is actually the best that I have tried. I LOVE how you dont have to switch out the filters to change the light tone, which means less things to carry! This is lightweight and Im really happy that it comes in a carrying case, though I wish the stand had a case as well. Its easy to mount my phone on to the ring for video and picture and the attachments for the ring and phone are flexible enough to move so I can get the best possible angle and light. I also like that it has a mount hole where I can hook it up on to the wall if needed. Overall, its really great for the price and I would recommend it.

I like the light and the features of the light itself; however, when it comes to the hardware it is just cheap. I had a problem to mount the light onto the stand because there were tiny little pieces that fell out of the mount when I opened it. These pieces were very difficult to get back in. Now the light is not able to rotate like it is supposed to. Very very cheap materials.

I have been looking for a ring light for a while to try some new things. This is simple to set up and stays still once everything is tightened up. It also comes with a mount to place either your phone or camera in the center of the light. The phone holder is very strong and will hopefully loosen up with use. Took me a while to get my phone out! Lol. I only had to turn this on to a about a quarter power because its so bright. I could use it as a lamp if I wanted to! The light comes with a storage bag that has a small pocket inside. I wouldnt recommend trying to fit the stand inside with it because the bag is slim. Overall Im very happy and excited to see what I can create with this!
