Install Flash Player I was a little hesitant to buy this speedlight unit because I watched a million reviews and they all said the quality was great at first, but over time it does break. I photograph mainly in studio, but on the occasion I do weddings. I got this unit as well as two YN560 IIIs. I chose to make the jump and purchase this YN560 IV because it can act as a Master for the YN560 IIIs I purchased. When they came in earlier this week I left them in the boxes just because I didnt need them for a while, but had a situation in studio where my strobe wouldnt fire due to my trigger going dead. I couldnt reschedule the session so I immediately put this on my Canon 6D hotshoe and set up one more YN560 III. They worked seamlessly together and I couldnt have been happier. This situation assured my trust in this light. The quality and functionality is perfect for what I needed. I cant wait to this unit at my upcoming weddings. The light up screen, buttons and easy set up were all perfect touches for this unit. When you first turn on the unit you will hear the noise the unit makes as far as the standard sound. You can turn it off easily which is amazing. I have had units where I had to google how to turn it off which is super annoying. The diffuser makes it even better because it does soften the light a bit more. My shadows were less punchy when I place it over the unit. It comes out the packaging with the diffuser already on it. I took it off to check the light out and was able to put it back on very easily. I did read that some people have had problems with the diffuser, but I had NO ISSUES WITH THE DIFFUSER! Im beyond satisfied with my purchase!

Love Yonguos line of Flashes. Every bit as powerful as Canon flashes at a fraction of the price. Have had a few for several years now. The build doesnt *feel* as solid as a Canon flash, but dont be fooled. Mine have fallen over more than once and didnt break. Only complaint is the mounting feature; I like Canons snap connector better than the Yongnuo screw down type. But overall a great flash and long lasting.

Ive been using these for a while in multiple configurations, as slaves, masters etc. And they have yet to fail me. The only thing they could improve a little bit is with a decent instructions booklet to set them up for the various configurations they can be used. I mean, they come with instructions, but they are very basic and you may have a hard time trying to figure how to configure them in a specific way. Other than that, they are beautiful and reliable. I have some rechargeable batteries that I use with these, and I have never run out of juice in the middle of a session. I can absolutely recommend them over the crazy expensive branded ones.

These are AMAZING. I am normally incredibly weary about using third party products for professional work, but I am sure glad I tried these out! They are exactly as advertised and have a surprisingly high quality feel to them. I use a set of three for photographing weddings and have not had a single worry of them letting me down. I have noticed one problem with radio trigger mode when using one of these on camera as the transmitter; The power of the on camera flash is severely reduced from the shown settings when transmitting the radio, while the flash receiving the trigger gives the proper output.

I own three of these including the transmitter and its worked great so far. I use it professionally for a mobile studio for headshots and portraits. Fairly reliable and my rechargeable Eneloops tend to last an entire session. Bit of a learning curve to use these flashes but theres a number of YouTube videos explaining and detailing all of its functions. Great speedlights and a good value.

Ive purchased Yongnuo flash units in the past, and with one exception, I have been impressed with their low price and functionality. My new YN-560 IVs didnt disappoint; they work well independently and with the Yongnuo radio remote controller unit that I bought to use them together in a flash group for portraits. The diffusers work well, too. FotoPal and Eachshot US did a great job of getting them to me quickly, too.

I absolutely love these. I am a photographer for a living and use these all day every day. I never use my $600 Nikon units, these are better and they are super cheap. I drop them all the time and they still work fine. They eventually lose power from being used/manhandled, and then I just order more! I make a living with these lights!

Yongnuo make the most economical, quality wireless flash setup you can get. This performance difference to higher priced systems is minimal.

For the money, a wonderful product. Use it with the 560-TX for a full system. What a wonderful thing to be able to control flash power and zoom from camera! All for much less than any other system Ive seen. Use with a Sony a6000.
