I chose this for my company when we started doing product marketing videos on YouTube. It was recommended by a local Emmy award winning videographer that I took a class from. Ive used it a couple times now, and found the light settings are fantastic! The only downside is setup; the instructions are weak and dont tell you what to put together first or when or how. If you look above the reviews here, youll see the User Manual PDF under "Technical Specification" (https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/B159jmPUiXS.pdf) although thats really not helpful as well (i.e. "install the mount", not "loosen it by doing x and then slide part y into part z."). I was stuck trying to figure out how to install the phone mount onto the ring light because it just wasnt fitting and I didnt want to force it, so I wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly. I ended up zooming in on all of the user review images here and then YouTubing it. Some of the tightening wheels on the mounts were stuck so badly the strongest men in my office couldnt loosen it, so we eventually broke out the pliers but were worried about damaging the cheap plastic. Luckily it all worked out!

I love this! I started making videos using a 105 watt studio bulb. The 105 watt bulbs are huge and you have to be really careful with them. They work ok until you drop one. I dropped one on the carpet and broke it!

Received very quickly and intact. Packaging was nice. The light ring and the options of lumen adjustment and color adjustment work just as advertised. Great options...from cool white to warm amber. I bought this to use with a small photobooth setup and I think it will be PERFECT. The quality of the tripod was also good. Seems to be sturdy and has four extensions, so height adjustment options are great. My only complaint is that I hoped that all pieces/parts would fit into the carrying bag. The carrying bag is only designed for the ring and the accessories. The tripod DOES NOT fit into the carrying bag. So I gave the review at 5 star, but more accurate would be a 4.5 star. A carrying bag for the tripod or a larger bag for everything to fit in would round this off to the perfect package. Overall, well worth the $$$.

4 stars The ring light is great. It has the most amount of LEDs Ive seen. Very bright! You dont need attachments to switch to soft light. You could blend the ratio between soft light and white light very easy using a dial knob. The filter that comes attached to the ring light using tiny little screws with a bit flimsy and a tad bit warped. I would still give the ring light itself five stars easily. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the tripod. The tripod when not extended (meaning the three segments in the tube) is pretty level. However, once you extend the segments to make the ring light taller, the ring light begins to lean to one side. Its a shame that such a great light didnt come with a better tripod. To be fair, judging by the reviews, other ring lights on the market suffer from the same problem. I really wish ring lights were designed with a way properly level the camera or phone, as most phone/camera tripods are designed.

I love this product and it helped to initiate the process and journey I want to pursue. This was a gift from my sister, so I definitely recommend to buy it as a gift for someone, because it is something worth having as it makes a huge difference in photos and videos. I did begin uploading videos and pictures with the help of my selfie ring light, so if you do want some visuals as too how the light enhances the skin, check out my instagram at: andreagalle92 The selfie ring light is super adjustable whether you need it short, tall or even tilt the selfie ring light itself. You can arrange the lights to whatever color you are aiming for. It can make you look pale or give you a little yellow pigmentation to the skin which is what I prefer. Once again, I love this product and now I dont even want to leave my room!

Sadly after ordering this item and then reordering I still had to return both light kits as they both had an electrical malfunction which were sparks popping out of the plug every time the lights were plugged in. In addition the lights didnt come on at all with the first light kit I ordered. Of course this is a fire hazard. I strongly suggest you remove this item from the market until this issue is addressed. This was a huge inconvenience for me because I had to reschedule my photo/video shoot twice as a result of your product. In addition I now have to wait an unfair amount of time for a refund. All of this has been a terrible experience for me. I couldnt be more unhappy and disappointed.

I have to say, the quality of light is very impressive. Great quality for an affordable price. I have no issues with this as it is dimmable as advertised, gives off a lot of light and gives subject a great catch light to boot. Easy to set up, the range of light settings that are easy to adjust. I would recommend it to my friend.

This product works perfectly and definitely fits the description. It is very bright and versatile. The stand is sturdy, its lightweight and portable and that’s one of the best features for our use of it for the business i purchased it for. Warm and cool lighting makes versatility more prominent. This product is perfect! Worth the money!

As an actor, this is a great tool for self-tape auditions, bringing an attractive attention to the persons face rather than background. I love the dials that allow for adjustment in both light brightness and in tailoring warmth/coldness of that light. Its definitely a simple one-and-done setup without need for anything else, at least for my purposes. The only thing Im not confident in rating at this time is the durability and how long the product will last.

Whether youre shooting small size products, filming vlogs, cooking instructions, this light is your perfect mate. Natural lighting is always the best yet its not 24/7 available. With this cost and performance, I would defiantly reconsider what I could achieve in my film productions.
