Amazing performance, works beautifully with TTL (so far tried with mounted on body)... The range, focal length, aperture synchronization with camera works like a charm... The auto focus assist light is very helpful for low light where cameras af assist beam is not so useful... Have not tried high speed sync so far, will update one i have tried that. So far never faced the problem as with 900 of overheating, the build quality is very good; pretty much happy with what I got for my money... although a bit expensive but worth it...

A work horse but eats battery power at full power manual or full TTL. (If you are an event shooter I recommend an auxiliary battery pack). Extremely versatile and easy to use both on camera and off. Guide numbers very accurate in manual mode. Very easy to set up. Might want to purchase Mike Hagens Creative Lighting book which will explain the usage of this and other Nikon speed lights in better detail than the instruction book. Dont fret over the price, it beats just about everything in its class. I have four of them.

I bought this for my son, off his Christmas wish list. He loves it and it does everything he needs it to do without the weight of some of the other flashes he was considering. He photographs dogs for a local rescue and the flash allows him to bounce the light so the flash doesnt frighten the dogs!

I replaced / upgraded my SB-900 with this product as I had heard that the overheating experienced in the SB-900 was resolved with the SB-910. From what I have experienced with the SB-910 . . . . the overheating WAS resolved!! I have had NO issues with the speed light overheating on several outings where rapid-fire continuous flash was necessary. I love this speed light.

I do love how this flash works, Nikon flashes are best. I guess they fixed the overheating problem, though I never bought the SB-900. Ive used this for weddings and it keeps working when I need it to. Its good that it uses 4 batteries, not 5 (like the SB-800). Batteries seem to last a long time in this flash. I just dont see why this flash costs so much?

is wonderful, I use it with my gary fong collapsible and losresultados are amazing, I love it, gives me the perfect range for the use of my lenses on my nikon d7000, sigma 17-70 that I use this flash set is unbeatable, still do not use more professional way, but evidence has emerged brutal!, now Ive got a gopro battery propac 960 and gives me a recycling less than one second, shoot in burst with the battery and did not take anything!, Im just happy with my flash.

I am a beginner photographer and I own this Speedlite. The SB 910 is awesome on my D 5100. I do not have the light system that is on the more expensive camera models, and I didnt want to buy a new camera just to get the system so, I just bought the SB 910. I run 4 SB 700s off of this light and they work great. Now, almost portfolio shooting that I do you will see the SB 910 on top of my camera. it is very large and combats the light of the Sun very well.

I am a fan of Nikons speedlights - owning many. This supplements my collection of SB800s and replaces the SB700 which didnt meet my need as a wedding and portrait photographer. The menu is simple to use and the power output is tremendous. However, the cost could deter many from purchasing the flash. My favorite is the SB800 for off camera use. I use the SB910 for on camera bounce flash or as a main to fire the SB800s remotely via the Commander mode.
