It works great on any lens that is greater than a 28mm... at that focal length you get a halo vignetting thing going on, i solved the problem with gaffers tape... other than that I am very happy with it!!!!

This thing is big and heavy with all six batteries installed. I like all the different levels of brightness though. Its made of very thin plastic, and Im betting the battery covers will break first, if not handled with great care.

Brightness and intended use is 5/5 Weight 2/5 Quality of the battery compartments 0/5 Its really difficult to get my nice rechargable aa out and Im nearly damaging them trying to pry them out. The battery covers are a pain and I just threw all 6 away.

I bought this for outdoor landscapes and insects shooting, and its price/performance ratio is really high. I feel that it is suitable for all close-range framing in addition to portrait shooting, and the power consumption is slow. Please open the battery cover gently cuz it is a bit fragile.

Its a small ring light and it works, but it will fall off if you are shooting straight down. Its good though!

lightweight and small battery powered ring light. snaps and fits around my lens with the correct mm adapter ring. really convenient for outdoor shooting especially when dealing with low to no lighting at night. has been incredibly useful in giving me bright light when I dont have any.

This thing will give you more headaches that the actual benefits. Once you insert the batteries you will have a hard time taking them out and the adapter can damage your lens because of its tight grip. I wont spend more time on this thing; just dont buy it.

Crazy bright!!! My only complaint is it didnt come with an adapter that would fit my Sigma 50mm. And the first time actively using it the shoe mount breaks and the ring light swings and hit me in the face. But seriously other than that i am in loveeee with it! Worth buying
