This is a fantastic flash at a fantastic price. You cannot go wrong with this purchase. Its easy to use, the digital display is simple and easy to figure out even for amateurs, the flash head moves in all different directions so you can aim your light exactly where you need it to go, it has a built-in flash diffuser, It fits basically any DSLR camera with a hot shoe, it has many different settings, and it helps you take beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this product to anybody, professional or amateur who wants to take good pictures with a decent flash.

I was skeptical with all the talk about these flashes being flimsy. i found it to be a strong build. definatly glad i went with the 561 over the 560. the back lit display is great. i found shooting in lowest setting is fine for the events i did last weekend. shooting in lowest setting should also allow for more shooting and less recovery time for the flash. overall im happy with this purchase. great item for the cost. i would buy another one. havent shot with a canon flash so i have nothing really to compare this with but im happy.

Love this little flash! It makes all the difference in low light situations!! I also bought a diffuser to go with it and love them together! Easy to use! Just one quick tip, make sure your shutter speed isn’t too high or you’ll get a crazy black curtain in your pictures. Took me a few takes and YouTube to figure it out. Great value, super happy with my purchase.

I could have spent a lot more money on another speedlight, but needing to save money, I did a bit of research and found that Neewer has a good reputation, and the reviews for this particular flash are very good. Since receiving it, Im very pleased to have acquired such a decent quality flash at such a great price. Neewer NW-561 LCD Display Speedlite Flash for All DSLR Cameras with Standard Hot Shoe

Mind bending value. I cannot fathom how Neewer can sell it so cheap even if its made in China. Nikon flashes are made in China too and they are way more expensive. Ive been disappointed more times than not on cheap gear but this flash is truly an exception. The NW-561 is a great flash at any price. Yes its a tad bulky but feels pretty substantial especially given its crazy low price. Light output is relatively high and the controls are super easy to figure out. Yes the manual is almost useless due to poor translating but fortunately you dont need it since its easy to figure out the controls. It has programmable sync strobe capability which is surprising at this low price; I have flashes that cost substantially more that do not. I am using it as a basic slave at the moment and as a slave it works flawlessly with no misses. Recycle time is fast and the backlit LCD screen is a bonus. I run all of my speedlights in manual so not having TTL capability isnt an issue for me. The users manual does suggest a cool down if you are performing lengthy consecutive fires which Im sure extends longevity. I cant attest to its reliability since I havent had it that long but so far its a solid flash. I am recommending this to my friends and family. Below $150 its a no brainer; below $50 its a steal.

First flash I have bought in over 20 years. It is amazing how technology has changed. actually fixed an old camera whose internal flash had completely quit working. Used the remote settings right out of the gate and worked like a charm. High-speed photos were no problem as flash kept up with recycles effortlessly. Would definitely recommend.

So many photographer friends of mine told me not to waste my money on a matching Canon flash for my camera. I am so glad I listened. No reason to spend so much more money when this more than gets the job done. Very pleased.

This is truly a "great bang for your buck". I just used one as an auxiliary flash during an event this past weekend and it worked flawlessly. I am planning on buying a couple more. Remember to buy some rechargeable batteries with this. You wont regret the flash nor the batteries.

I highly recommend this flash if you want a manual flash I repeat this is a manual flash and it does not auto correct with your camera so please keep that in mind but as far as Bill quality and endurance I think this flash is very good you can also sync this with an external remote so please keep that in mind if youre looking for extra flashes to hook up to an external remote

I bought one two years ago and love it so much that I bought another! The quality is great. I’ve been using it pretty hard since I got it (I’m a wedding photographer) and has even withstood a few drops. It’s going to take a lot for me to upgrade to an expensive Nikon flash- I’m so impressed with this flash!!
